    Hi, Paul hete

Hello @pfd welcome to the TT&M Family
  5. Great! I'm really drawn to this deck so I hope that'll happen. Her decks are sold (or at least posted LOL) on eBay at a high price.

Deck of the Week Sign-Up Thread: Week 273, Oct. 1 - Oct. 7

This week I'll be using the Animal Totem Tarot, created by Eugene Smith with a companion book by Leeza Robertson; the set was published by Llewellyn. I'll also be using the Blum/Gern Rune Cards created by Ralph Blum and illustrated by Gabrielle Gern with publishing by Connections. Today's draws are the Page of Swords and Isa: Runs with scissors - phrase seen on a t-shirt The Page of Swords as a roadrunner made me chuckle; it's not that he isn't intelligent, it's just that he's impatient. This Page wants to know everything and inform everyone all about it by yesterday. He may hear the tail-end of a conversation then think he has the whole story. Or he may learn a concept and attempt to apply that idea to all without exception. While he is learning, albeit in a helter-skelter sort of way, he's liable to create some chaos as he goes. Isa is a rune that refers to ice, a time of being frozen. Blum suggests the keyword 'standstill,' a good reminder for the Page of Swords to pause for clarity and do a deeper dive on what he thinks he knows. It’s wonderful to have the freedom to continually widen our interests. But like many luxuries, it has an insidious downside. Ever-branching possibilities make it harder for us to explore any given one deeply, because there’s always more “newness” to turn to when the old new thing has reached a difficult or boring part. —David Cain, "Go Deeper Not Wider"

yeah I guess $40 ($45 retail) + $35 ($40 retail) + $30 ($35 retail) + $30 ($35 retail) + $30 ($35 retail) = Total for all: $165 or $190 retail Early Bird Box Set Price (and it's so cute!) = $150 if you get in early and grab it, or $165 which is the same as buying each item at the Kickstarter price Beware the strong $ dollar exchange rate at the moment!

Welcome to the forum Paul / @pfd Glad you have found us here You can edit a post by pressing the ... in the top right corner of your posts and selecting edit. Hi, Paul hete

I started tarot about a year ago and have a lot of curiosity about so much. My approach is fairly secular, believing in tarot's ability to show new ways to think about situations; hook Into the syncronicity of life, offer new challenges. In day to day use I like Visconti-Sforaza. My collection in general has grown very big. I prefer historical decks to modern decks. The history and variation is quite exciting.

That's how I feel about all these sets that come out later.... (To save money I just bought a complete set of 10 novels, even though I had the first 4, as it was WAY cheaper than buying the other 6 any other way - and yes, even used; I always go used where I can.) The woman who sits next to me in choir was very pleased to get nos 2,3 and 4 for free, as she had enjoyed the first !

Thanks for the lovely welcome I did my first reading for this week with the Wildwood yesterday. I remember why I was drawn to this deck - I love the style of the imagery and its whole general theming. I've been lazy and just taken a picture of my handwritten journal for this reading I like to ask for some themes/energies for the week ahead so that's what this reading is! I wasn't going too detailed on the interpretations for this reading, but you can get pretty deep with the Wildwood! I'll probably do a review at the end of the week to see the accuracy of this reading and see what interesting details emerge!

@AnomalyTempestRight?? I've been dying for a good Frog deck AND HERE IT IS. My main issue with Eads' offerings is if you own the Lenormand already and want the complete set, you need to double up on the Lenormand. OTOH I guess it wouldn't be too hard to find someone to sell either my 1st Ed or 2nd Ed Lenorrmand off to, depending on my druthers.

I got this on my birthday last month (actually the end of August. I forgot it's October already.) from my daughter. I think that Devil may be one of my favorites. He reminds me of a friend of mine. I especially love the graffiti on the stall. That Sugar Skull tarot is on my wishlist (physical copy, I never keep online updated. ) so I'm excited to see it in use. @MichaelH I have the mini version of that deck and it's gorgeous. I keep promising myself I'm going to get the regular size one day.

Thank you, that seems obvious now, but couldn't figure it out!

James Eads has sent all the pricing and item details to his mailing list. I have captured the email from my inbox below.... You can sign up to notifications of the Kickstarter which will go live on Monday here It will be called the The Green Glyphs Collection. You can buy individual decks (there will be 4) or the complete set in a Box Set all together. All the prices will be cheaper on the Kickstarter than the retail prices. There will be limited edition Early Bird price on the Box Sets on launch. Kickstarter launches Monday, the original Green Glyphs items (I presume the Lenormand deck?) will be 20% off on his store for the next week. I have always wanted the Lenormand deck, I love decks with non-binary cards. I can't decide which package I want to get and probably will get stung by customs but maybe it's worth it. It's not easy to find here! Might go for the tarot and Lenormand decks, they each come with a book. The Box Set is really out of my price range but good for fans of the range. If we are happy with the posts about this Kickstarter here, I will leave them but I can move all related posts to their own thread if anyone would like that

I'm in as well. I'll be using the Gilded Tarot Royale which was the third deck I acquired. https://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/gilded-royale/ Absolutely beautiful images and I'm looking forward to working with it

Hi! Does anyone know what deck was used in the movie "Wine Country"? Seemed like a Smith Waite clone with gold foil and black frames? Thanks!
