It's something added to most servers now, it's the same as Cloudflare. It protects us if someone tried to maliciously send a lot of traffic at us or other cyberattacks 😞 It's really useful to protect us to have it on and it's recommended to not turn it off. There is no in-between or white listing members sadly. We'll keep monitoring it and looking at the situation as always ❤️ It's annoying that now it's not just a click but also a pattern for you @Raggydoll I have never had it appear at home but went on holiday last week and got it randomly turn up a few times but it was just a click through.

Today I was thrown out again, and I was simply answering a post. I hadn’t done a search or anything, just typed a reply. And once I was out, the captcha had issues. It couldn’t format itself to my phone and I only saw parts of the puzzle, and once I had moved around the screen and solved the puzzle, it just kept buffering for a very long time before I was allowed back in. Seriously, something is off with this thing. So it’s not just a click, like you meant it to be. It’s a stressful nuisance to me 😞

Yeah I get as much, I have family in the printing business and at least normal playing cards can be made for way under $1 when in mass print (probably more now due to paper prices going up). But for vendors in markets, if they buy for $3 and sell for $4 that is kind of not worth the bother. But maybe I understood it wrong and the vendors were selling them for higher. I've done some research and the decks which are so dirt cheap mostly have added postage per single order, not the whole shipment, which generally brings them above $5, usually closer to 10. The only way you can get them for around $2 a piece is on Alibaba directly, when you order them in the 100s. Which is, I am sure, what the shop I found the fakes in does. But there is still added delivery charge it seems, you'd have to be logged in to be sure. So I understand the profit for the original sellers, just not the re-sellers.

I ran into this thread on the way to something else, and felt like making a short contribution. I always focus on the vehicle itself, when I get The Chariot (a favourite card of mine, obviously!) For me it's not so much where I'm going or how I feel about things, etc, but what vehicle (method) I am choosing to get me there. The Chariot is all about how I behave (or how the querent behaves, if I'm reading for somebody else.) How am I moving forward? In a controlled manner? In a predetermined manner? Do I steer a steady course? Am I rolling smoothly along? Have I chosen the right method or 'vehicle' to get things done? The answer to these issues is 'yes' if The Chariot appears upright in a reading. Or ...am I dashing ahead in an uncontrolled manner? Am I all over the place? (Chariot reversed.) Do my methods need repair or fine-tuning (depending on the question asked and position in the spread.) Have I lost control of my behaviour altogether, and am about to come a-cropper? Am I over-reacting to something? Or failing to react to an obstacle in the middle of the road? For me, The Chariot is all about the method I use to tackle something—including life in general.

It's my first time 🙂 . So I decided to back a colour and gold one at the early bird price! You might have to tell me how to read all the millions of cards! FYI, the early bird prices on the Minchiate are into their last day. The Kickstarter carries on until Mid-October if anyone else is interested in it.

I took a little break from deck buying... but since I earned some money with tarot, I followed my old rule: I spend nothing but tarot money on tarot. I have had my eyes for a while on the Painted Tarot. It's oop on Etsy BUT I found it in a Dutch online shop. And I'm very happy and excited about it. I'll have it delivered to my European address where I'll spend Christmas. So it's a Christmas present to myself 🙂

Hola. I totally relate. I was a professional dancer when younger ... but now have RA. And yes, cards and my "tarot friends" have helped me deal with this. welcome.

Makes me want to learn how to make marsala! I still watch Hell's Kitchen almost everyday for a few years now (I'm so OCD) and listen to the ingredients they use. Sounds delicious! Tonight I'm making hamburgers with boiled potatoes, carrots and onions. I love boiled dinners! I have a hamburger spice I use that really makes the meat taste yummy!

Such a delicious question! My son and I do employ tarot and oracle cards in our games! Currently we are setting up our Fallout TTRPG and no matter the core rules we change games to make them co-op where there is no DM so the cards really can be important. Because Fallout uses chems, I purchased a cannabis oracle deck that we use when chems are involved in the game. I also use an erotic deck for sexual situations. In our medieval game (Goblin Slayer) that began in Greece, I purchased an oracle deck of the Greek Pantheon. So when we began a new scene, we pulled the oracle card. That game also used an erotic deck. He's developing a sex system module that can be used with any game. This is true. When it comes to using the erotic decks, I often use them as images or prompt but ironically both of those decks are tarot so I have the option of reading the card as tarot. The oracle decks are used for their messages on the card. The Greek oracle I used was powerful when it came to beginning a new scene! The cannabis deck is just a lot of fun. In our Fallout game we are including poker chips and playing cards for a certain type of token system we're utilizing.--similar to Savage Worlds. I used that site for a game purchase but I don't remember what it was exactly. It might have been for a virtual map, been awhile! There are more and more solo games out now that incorporate using decks. That's how our policy of playing co-op began, my son was playing a solo game and needed to work out some problems so I came in with him and that's the only way we play now. He would spend all week writing up a campaign just with me and I said enough! We do this together or not at all, it wore him out all that writing. Now he's on the path of writing his own books based on his solo game and it's going to be awesome but I'm his mom so of course it will!

I can only read small amounts of it myself. I usually rely on Google translate and English to French dictionaries. It's a labour of love though! A quick untranslated glance at the tarot minor meanings and I can already tell they're Ettiella based. Though that is pretty common for the minors in french literature. 😁 What's most interesting about this book is the fact it has meanings for the full 52 playing card deck. It's not often you see that in older french cartomancy books as they seem to favour the piquet deck.

Just flicked through the deck images again and you're right. Not sure where I got that idea from! I wish more decks like this were designed. It screams cosy readings on cold nights inside that cottage card 😆
