Happy Autumnal Equinox!

A blessed equinox (Mabon!) to you all!! Is anyone celebrating in any particular way today?

 

The autumnal weather has really hit my part of the world like a ton of leaves 🍂 and I am loving it!

Happy Equinox to all as well; it's Mabon in my neck of the woods.  I'm using today as a point of conscious renewal.

 

It sounds lofty but I just felt myself drifting away from myself.  I need to reconnect.  In anticipation of today I pulled a card from one of my favorite oracle decks last night. Tonight I will meditate on it, the season, and what changes I need to make in my life.  We're entering my favorite half of the year.  Time to add the Fall items to my altar; candles in orange and brown and gold and black, gourds and mini pumpkins, autumn coloured crystals.

 

Then I think my friend and I will put on some Leonard Cohen and Loreena McKennitt music, open the black current wine and toast to the future and us being our best selves in it.

It's the vernal equinox (Spring/Ostara) here in my neck of the woods 🐇🐣🌱

I love the return of the sun and warmth! Bring on summer!

Ive made myself a Mabon brew out of toasted honey and rosemary almonds, cinnamon apples and barley oats, and buttered milk. I’m going to be doing a day and nighttime ceremony and ritual for two patron goddesses (and their masculine-godly counterparts) so I’m happy to leave this as an offering~

A very happy and blessed Mabon or Ostara to all! ✨🍂 I hope everyone finds some balance, some peace, some rich harvest, or whatever they need in their lives right now.

 

I just finished up a virtual ritual with my local druid grove- we're doing all of our rituals online with COVID. I also walked for a couple of hours in some local woods and parks today 🧡

Thank you so much for sharing your observances today 🥰 It is such a comfort hearing how everyone around the world is celebrating. I got to enjoy spirits with a good friend today and express my love, and I fasted from buying anything in order to appreciate what I already have with me.  Had some contemplative time as well.

 

I hope this equalizing day brings beauty to you!  Quite happy for friends celebrating the Spring Equinox, which brings such fresh, joyous vibes!! 🌱
