A few questions about planetary magic

For those of you who are skilled in planetary magic, how did you find it?

 

How do I know what I need to focus on in my natal chart? (e.g. Is it simply a matter of focusing on Venus if there's a lack of Venus in the chart, or if Venus is in bad aspect with another planet, or deeper than that? How does it work?)

 

Would someone like to share what they're trying to improve based on their chart and why?

 

I'm just trying to get a broder picture of how this actually works.
