Bodhiseed
With a foot more firmly in 2023, I'm in beginning Sunday with the Tarot of the Master paired with the Paracelsus Oracle. Thank you Fire Cat!💚

Drake_Winterfell
I'll return to the Fey Tarot this week. I hope to try out the spreads in the guidebook: 1 - Dream, Joy, Magic 2 - The Fey Child 3 - The Cross of the Four Kingdoms 4 - The Six Stars I wanted to do this last week, but I was too busy with circle readings. I hope I can do them all this week. Thanks for hosting @fire cat pickles Edited January 20, 2023 by Drake_Winterfell
Mi-Shell
I will be busy with the Sacred Hag Oracle for at least another month; going through it by puling a card a day and meditating with the image and journaling on the musings and prompts the book presents. But Yesterday I opened another parcel, that arrived here all the way from New Zeeland. It contained a very lovely Tarot deck: The Alchemists Garden I have no clue who send it!?! - probably one of our clients/ Bearpaw Jewellery enthusiasts.... I am enchanted with the look of the deck and the soft sepia colours of the cards ♥ So I will be exploring it this week for sure :)

Scarlet Woodland
Thanks @fire cat pickles, I'm sticking with The Wandering Star Tarot this week. Was planning on switching to The Light Seer's Tarot but I'm not ready to let go of The Wandering Star yet 😊.
fire cat pickles
Welcome back @Scarlet Woodland! I wasn't ready to give up the Olympus, but I'm so worried I'm going to damage it. So, I put it back in my cabinet and got one of my top favorites out, the Tarot of the Magical Forest. I may actually keep this one out for a few weeks. I promise I've been pulling cards. It's just with school and work I don't have time to write anything up 😞
Akhilleus
I liked working with the Mystical Dream Tarot so much that I'd like to focus on it once more this coming week.

Nemia
I'll spend next week with the Field Tarot. It's beautiful, clear and poetic. I haven't used it much lately, which is a pity. When I did my Autum Equinox reading nearly two years ago, I loved it. Let's see how it works for me now. I hope I'll have the time to do more than just my planetary days of the week! And I love the idea of trying spreads in the guide books of the decks. I hope I can adopt it! Edited January 21, 2023 by Nemia
Strength
I will join in this week! I will use the Radiant Rider Waite

Akhilleus
Thank you @fire cat pickles! This week, I began posting my daily draws with the Mystical Dream here:
Bodhiseed
This week I'll be using the Tarot of the Master, created by Giovanni Vacchetta and published by Lo Scarabeo. Along with it, I'll be drawing from the Paracelsus Oracle, published by Lo Scarabeo with instructions written by Gina di Roberto. The cards drawn for today are the Eight of Cups and Rubeus: Rather than the RWS version of a man leaving under the cover of darkness, the Tarot of the Master shows eight chalices in a delicate balance. Given the keyword 'equilibrium,' it emphasizes how important a sense of evenness underlies all of our important relationships. It doesn't mean each person has to conform to the same mold; instead it points to a need for a democratic use of authority and influence. Rubeus ('red') suggests a passion that can be used constructively or destructively. A "my way or the highway" attitude" will quickly dismantle the delicate balance of those cups. Yet a passionate commitment to work through difficulties and a view of one's partner as vital part of one's life can be the concrete that holds a relationship together. I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone, its not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people that make you feel all alone. —Robin Williams
Rachelcat
Hi, I'm here! Happy new year of the water rabbit! (I don’t know much about lunar new year, but I know it started on yesterday’s new moon.) This week I’m starting a reading series using the daily keywords of the Spirit de la Lune oracle. And this week, the readings will be with the Shining Angels Tarot, just because it’s round to match the oracle! Spirit de la Lune is a round deck with daily moon phase cards, moon month name cards, and astro sign cards. (The numbering is an oddity: The daily cards start 1-7, then other cards are interspersed so that each week starts with the next ten, in other words day 8 is numbered 11. That confused me so much at first, but now I can just ignore it!) The quarters are assigned elements: From new moon to first quarter is air; first quarter to full is fire; full to last quarter is water; last quarter to dark moon is earth. The booklet has spreads for each moon month, which I used in 2020 and 2021. I display the moon month and new moon and full moon cards and the daily card on my dining room buffet as a kind of moon calendar. Shining Angels Tarot is a Lo Scarabeo round deck, larger than the Spirit de la Lune. They succeeded in putting card titles in 6, count them 6, languages around the edges! The art is soft (maybe colored pencils?). The main title of each card is a pseudo?-Hebrew angel name, which is translated in the booklet. I don’t know the source of the names. The majors feature more well-known angel names, like Michael and Metatron. The angels are mostly (or completely?) female in appearance with large feathery wings of different colors. As I’ve mentioned in other threads, I was thinking of replacing this deck in my angel tarot collection spot, but I haven’t seen any I like better. Maybe working with it this week will make me appreciate it and want to keep it, either that or make me work harder to replace it! Let’s start with an interview. (I’m not going to interview the Spirit de la Lune because I’m just going to be using the daily cards as reading prompts, not the whole deck. Besides, the Wolf Moon, Aquarius, and Leo cards are already in the frame on my buffet!) Most important characteristic: 7 Pentacles, Aur Barouk, Blessed Light The deck can show me possibilities. This is the Big Dipper, so what it shows is hope, and maybe the right direction to take. Strength: The Wheel, Tdasquiel Looks like the earth itself is the wheel here. And the angel is Fortune, pouring out her bounty on the earth. But she’s blindfolded. The wealth isn’t always distributed evenly or fairly. That’s the fortune part. The deck faithfully shows the good and the bad fortune coming my way! Weakness: 9 Swords, Behemi El, Angel of the Waves Is it a real shipwreck or just a nightmare? The deck is a little too suggestive, leading me to fear specific things it seems to show, true or not. What the deck can teach me: King of Swords, Eli Melek, God is King Wow, this looks a little too much like a Justice card. The flaming sword, maybe she’s one of the angels that guarded Eden? I see an empty throne. This is totally against the spirit of the creator and title I’m sure, but I’m going to say the deck can teach me how to take the throne of being in charge of my own mind and understanding. Not god, but I, am king of my own mind. How I can learn it: 9 Chalices, Baraqi El, Light of God So similar to the 7 Pentacles, even the names. I can learn to be in charge of myself, but that includes having compassion and caring for myself. Even if it takes two angels to show that! Outcome of our work together: The Stars, Uriel, Shining One What an outcome! And I have so much to say about this card, too. Uriel is the archangel of the earth element in some schemes. The background to me is very earthy, while the angel very much looks the part of a star come to earth, as she points the way back to heaven from whence she came. Obviously a good sign. I’m already finding, although I don’t have any special connection with angels, that this deck has interesting art and plenty of information to fuel readings. It’s not just a prettified RWS, which I appreciate. I look forward to reading with it this week!

Scarlet Woodland
Well The Wandering Star Tarot has necessitated a total revamp of my top ten decks. Number 6 with a bullet. It's one of those things you can't really quantify but it just feels like home, you know? I was really dithering on getting it too but something said BUY IT and I caved.
