Amazingly The Peanuts Inspiration Deck is officially licensed. Also it's part of a paper and scrap booking official multi product range. Different to the Insight Editions products we have been seeing.

These publishers are buying expensive licences for these much loved franchises. it's intriguing. They must get their money back on them to make it worthwhile

I think it's different to the unofficial peanuts one though 🤷‍♂️. That one had Snoopy's kennel on fire for the Tower, this one seems more inspirational as a theme 🙂

Bolstered my metallic Tarots collection with the addition of three decks.

First is the dazzling, resplendent Visconti di Modrone Tarot. The Cary-Yale has always been among my favorite historical Tarocchi, but to see Lo Scarabeo apply their famed foil treatment to it is astounding.

I added two more Atanassov metallics just so I won't miss out if they do go OOP like their Mantegna. The Golden Tarot of the Renaissance is just the Estensi, while the Golden Botticelli is its own magnificent beast.

Ordered the Tarot Nefertari and the Ramses: Tarot of Eternity.

Perhaps it restores some of the original vibe as hand-painted work of art. I watched an unboxing. Did you get the full package with the sealing wax and seal? I'm not a fan of huge box sets, but I admit i thought the sealing wax was kinda cool & historic.

I think you're referring to the Kickstarter version that came with all dem freebies. I bought the regular version that they released later.

I know there’s been more than one Peanuts Tarot.  When I get mine I’ll be able to comment better.  I know Wands are Baseball Bats in this one and it appears that shovels are swords.  I though I saw another version of the Tower, than the one with Snoopy’s doghouse being struck my lighting.  I think I saw one with Linus clutching his blanket with a more traditional tower image.  It is funny though, Snoopy’s Doghouse did burn down one and had be rebuilt.  It was kind of like the TARDIS in Doctor Who, it was bigger on the inside than out.

I like the Peanut’s Inspirations Deck so far, I’ve been using it for the past 3 days.  I like to start my day with some sort of positive note or thought.  I’ve found these to be very intuitive so far.

Finally: the Tarot of the Saints. One of my few remaining holy grail decks.

The book is in great condition and the box is a bit damaged, but that's not a deal-breaker at all.

The cards are sealed and brand new though. I will relish studying this.

The bling! Nice decks.

Speaking of metallic, I (finally) received the gold embossed Citadel Oracle ltd ed. with the bonus Emblems deck, the box with map of the Citadel, and the ttrpg campaign. More beautiful in person than my photo.  my unboxing is in the First Impressions thread.

And I backed the Telos Tarot by Meleen in the kickstarter that just ended. Won't have that in the post for a while though.

Just recently, I was able to acquire four brand new and sealed OOP Lo Scarabeo decks from a local collector. He was a guy too, so I was delighted by their themes of epic exploration and unbridled adventure. Testosterone Overload!

I didn't know that a Tarot of the Pirates exists, but now that I do I'm lovin it! Will definitely work with it soon.

I do wonder why the Olympus Tarot faded away from the tsunami of Greek mythology-themed decks that swamped the market. I like its art a lot better, and most of the correspondences were spot on.

The Avalon Tarot is the third and rarest among my Arthurian Tarots. I also have the extensive set by Matthews and the Legend: the Arthurian Tarot deck and book kit. Now that I checked the last one out, it seems like it's also OOP now. Might have to shell out for an additional copy while it's still affordable since I love how fully it explores the Matter of Britain.

Ah, the Samurai Tarot! I loved watching those oriental swashbucklers even as a kid, and while I knew all about this deck even when I was just starting out, I sorta dismissed ever owning it due to the prohibitive price. I'm just glad that I'm able to acquire it now, and in a pristine and excellent condition at that!

I was initially concerned since among the four decks, the Samurai has no external seal. There was no reason to worry though, since the deck inside was airtight. It was actually double sealed, since aside from the gold-lined plastic that covers the very cards themselves, outside it was another seal that envelopes the LWB along with it.

And what a tract that is! I sorta had the conception that most antique Lo Scarabeos have cookie-cutter booklets, but not this one.

Even as a female I got a bit jaded with the feminization of Tarots and Lenormands. Making the Magician female or the Rider female unbalances the deck imnsho. But I digress. Tarot of the Pirates? OMG!!! I just watched a flip through and I'm low-key jealous 🤣. That deck looks too fun!

I remember watching the very first Pirates of the Caribbean in a movie theater when I was just a kid. I was hooked! Followed the entire series and am sad since it seems well and truly iced now. So this deck was a truly lovely surprise and I can't wait to explore it.

I know that a few readers see its themes and depictions as problematic, but I guess I'll simply take their criticisms in stride. Can't say that I shan't be reading with it in the spirit of purest fun though lol. 😁

The postman had nothing to do with this, but I have to share. I was in a sort of alt-coffee-shop and art gallery and there were two decks on the counter. One was the Tattoo, which I had - and the other was this LE numbered deck that I never saw before and bought on the spot.

I see it appears on amazon; it doesn't SAY it's an LE there, so who knows - it is out of stock. I haven't spent time with it yet, but I will do. It is a pip deck - but even so....

LOL I'm older than you so saw that first movie as an adult, but still LOVED it.

I'm jaded with *everything* fun being *problematic*. I've actually read quite a bit of real history about Pirates, the Free ports of the Caribbean and the "white slave trade" along the Barbary coast. Fascinating and all of it *problematic* by today's stick up the a$$ puritanical standards [oops, did I say that out loud?].

P*dohphilia, sexual slavery, revolutionary resistance against big navies, mixed race peoples. WOW! If it all gets romanticized into Tarots so be it. There is a lot to admire about the revolutionary spirit of the Pirates [once you get past the brutality, r@pe, and crime].  Long live Anne Bonny and Mary Read!

I once had the Avalon, but ended up passing it on. I didn't gel with it the way I did with the Matthews or the Legend Arthurian. I wish I did because it's a subject dear to me. But we can't win 'em all.

Unfortunately I haven't been getting much in the way of decks lately, but I did get Nightmare Before Christmas, and 3 Dark Synevyr decks. They will take a lot of work.

Diabolik Tarot. Limited edition.

I'm not a comic book fan, but this deck captivated me! Very cool ART! I like it.  Now I'm reading these comics, and I'm starting to like them! 💣

I ordered Anino Lenormand by Narciso from Printer Studio. No idea how long it will take.

I tried to buy the deck a couple months ago but the site wouldn't process payment. I've wanted the deck for some time but I'm glad of the delay. For whatever reason, I was able to purchase it a couple days ago. Thus it wasn't an impulse purchase I really thought about it 😇

Looking forward to his ethnic take on the Lenormand. I also really like he has *old* versions of man and woman cards. I'm old and we have so much discussion of *diversity* in the cartomantic world -- yet this is usually only considered in racial terms. Never for age.

Anxiously awaiting a parcel from Italy containing:
La Corte dei Tarocchi by Anna Maria D'Onofrio (Il Meneghello)
Sibilla Originale (Il Meneghello)
I Trionfi del Regno di Sicilia by Paolo Asaro (Dal Negro)

Not a big fan of the Dal Negro card stock, though. But I checked some flip through videos on Youtube and the deck looks stunning.

I recently bought Robert M. Place's The First Occult Tarot and the accompanying book, in order to put Etteilla in the light of comte de Mellet. Nice gilt edges and drawings in Egyptophile style. I will not use it often for reading, I think, but it certainly has a value as a meditation deck, beyond its historical value. I'm particularly fond of how de Mellet brought details from the Beçanson tradition and the Aluette tradition together.

I have a few things coming in the mail. Granny's Postcard Tarot, The Christmas Tarot, and The Ethereal Visions Tarot.  Granny's Postcards look to be humorous and well done.

Today I received the Old Style Tarot (US Games Systems) and Understanding the Tarot Court.  I rather like the cards in the deck.  The book wasn’t a necessity but I was curious and I’ve never been disappointed by anything Mary K Greer has written.
