Restriction on posting 'like' on posts

Several times, after having posted several 'likes' to posts within a short period of time, I receive a message that I cannot post any more 'likes' today.  I'm a friendly person.  I like to show appreciation for thoughtful and informative posts.  So why does this happen?  Just curious...

I don't think anybody has hit limits before now and I have no way to adjust that in the back. It wasn't meant to be used so liberally, I mostly enabled it so I could get people entered for subscriber giveaways. 😅

I have also been experiencing this a lot in the past 48 hours. I know it was activated for the purpose of the subscriber giveaways, but it has definitely become useful when I want to acknowledge someone's efforts to post, but a) I don't have time to reply quite yet, or b) I don't really need to reply, but I want the person to know I appreciate what they've shared.

I hear that there isn't a way to change this, but could we know the parameters around this? Like is it a 24 hour period with 20 likes? Why the limitation at all?

Thank you!

I experience it too. Which is funny because I’m sure you remember my initial attitude towards this feature @Little Fang 😆 But it’s a great way for us who run circles to acknowledge all the participants when they join or post, and then I can reply more in depth when real life is less hectic! Obviously this is no big deal but I have found myself wondering about the reason for the limitation 🙂

I did some digging on the software forums and might have found a solution. I'll poke it later!

Great! Thank you! I was able to like both of those posts. 😀

Hmmm... now the identification of the person 'liking' the post has disappeared... :animated-smileys-thinking-36: which defeats the purpose of liking a post... sorry, but can this be fixed?

If you click on Notifications it just says 'Somebody liked...'

Seems to be okay for me, let us know if it continues for you. Both in the feed and notifications it says the name of the person for me. We can monitor it 😀

Thank you.

This is what I see.

All notifications of someone liking a post looks like this, even old ones. 🤷🏻‍♀️😊

I tried different browsers and multiple devices. They all show up like that.

It seems to be working now. At least on my phone.

Thank you!

Thanks, it's a nice feature.

Where can I find the Members List?  I'm viewing the site on my tablet and not sure if it might be a simplified version

Hi there, nice to see you around the place @Emily. It's under "forums" to tidy up the menu bar items a bit. It's at the top of the screen under Forums if it displays the top and if it displays the mobile view, it's on the right hand side. Menu button in the top right > Forums > Members 🙂 . You can search member names and stuff on the person icon 🗣️there
