Anyone else working with Freya and doing something today?

Yes. She’s part of my theme for this dark moon - shedding as an act of self care. I don’t just work with her on Friday’s though, but for this event, she definitely plays a big role!

What do you have planned?

We'll be in the outside temple tonight, with some met and beer and cakes and incense, and I'll use the Runic Tarot to determine which form my Dark Moon ritual shall take and what I am best to do beween this Dark Moon and the next Full Moon, which is in my tradition the time of thin veils. This year, I really want to do more than I normally do, which basically means not to be distracted from magic and try to do something daily.

But then I may get told otherwise.

I also used my insane skill with AI to make a new altar image for her... not totally convinced but I tried!

I like it!

On Fridays in the morning (if I'm fully awake) - I draw the charm with a green stone on it (Venus) & place it on my Altar.

I usually have some thoughts about Venus/Aphrodite - and other such deities: Freya. Erzulie Frieda, Astarte, Hathor, Babalon, Ziva and Branwen - come to mind too.

This practice inspires me to look things up - so I may google "Goddesses of Love" and read about some new ones I knew nothing about.  I like that.
