Lenormand Shocks Me Sometimes

Just wanted to share a Lenormand related story with you all. I am thinning out my Tarot collection so I asked my Lenormand deck where I should photograph these decks before I put them up on eBay. These are the cards I pulled:

Whip + Cross + Fox

I really had a hard time interpreting this one, initially. I took a step back from racking my brain and went down to make a cup of coffee. While in the kitchen, I thought maybe I should take them in the kitchen after thinking about the Whip and the Cross. Wasn't sold on it. So I walked into my dining room, crashed into the dog, and spilled coffee on my shirt. When I looked up to the sky to choke down my rage, I saw the painting above my dining room table of a 19th century fox hunt. I guess I'll be taking photos in the dining room...

Lenormand is so shockingly obvious sometimes. I've been struggling putting together the meanings of cards in mutli-card readings lately...almost like writer's block. This was a kick in the pants to take a step back and just look at the cards from a very basic point of view.

I love when that happens and it's so literal! :classic_laugh:

At least you know the best room to photograph them in 😉

For ages, I used to do a Lenormand 3 card reading at the start of every week and look at a theme or something that would happen that week. I can't remember all the cards but two of them one week was Birds in the centre and Snake and another card, I couldn't really see this event or message but interpreted it and left it in my journal. In the middle of the week, I had a phone call from a Govt dept, it was bureaucratic but completely out of the blue and not pre-arranged. I remembered my reading when the call began and they were asking many questions. The reading was basically not to trust (there was a negative card with Snake) gossip, conversation, a phone call? This call was fishing for information and was genuine, I was guarded about it and didn't trust the person. This approach to the call was the right one, if I was less guarded what I had said could have been used against me, as it was recorded. In the end, everything was above board but some other people were chatty and friendly with the "friendly voice" and it was used against them. This was a formal call ultimately and should be treated as such but I didn't know it when the call began, So that reading was a warning and gave me advice in that exact moment, be careful trusting them, they were not a friend 🙂 .

Me too I love it when it is so literal @KingOfPents and guess the Universe had to help you a bit and put your dog in your path. 🤣

This was really amazing @KingOfPents Chuckle worthy indeed. And it’s like, you just cant share it with someone who is not into these stuffs. Coz they would never understand it 🙂 Have had such literal events both with Tarot and Lenormand!

Funny enough, I asked it for a general message about an hour later and got the Man + Tower + Mice. As I was sitting there reading, I could hear the mice in my walls that must have come in to stay warm during this cold snap. Absolutely wild, this Lenormand is.

Yeh that is why I love Lenormand. Blunt and to the point.

Those two readings were like getting hit with a frying pan. Amazing how blunt they are.

I've moved this thread from the Lenormand Readings Section to the main Lenormand Section. This isn't really readings that need help with.

You're welcome to post your most amazing (or shocking) Lenormand Readings you have had and write examples but we can't help wih the readings here, it's just to share your story 🙂 :78496:
