DanielJUK Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 What are your Tarot / divination related resolutions / plans/ studies/ activities for the next year? Have you got any plans or areas of interest you want to work towards? Goals? Reading changes?
DanielJUK Posted December 30, 2024 Author Posted December 30, 2024 For me, I want to study the Runes and Oracle de Belline deeper as study projects. I have a basic knowledge of both but want to get deeper with both methods. It's interesting they are not tarot goals, maybe I need a little break from adding more to studying tarot during that year.
Natural Mystic Guide Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I have so many interests and things that I wish to perceive -- just in Tarot/divination world, let alone the rest of life. I could easily be cloned and living 3 lifetimes. I'm not really having goals per se, as I do not want to add pressure to something that I enjoy so much.
geoxena Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 (edited) I'd like to become better at seeing how each card in a reading relates to the others and to the spread as a whole. In other words, the flow of the story. Sometimes I have a hard time seeing how very disparate cards can connect with each other, instead of just being applicable to their position in a spread. I hope that makes sense. Edited December 31, 2024 by geoxena
Toreador Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 My resolution for the coming new year is direct and quantifiable. However busy I get, I will allot at least six hours every week for my Tarot studies and divinatory pursuits.
FindYourSovereignty Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 My Tarot focus for this year has multi-layers. I am preparing to teach this year. I wish to cull the herd and move on all the decks that I am not using. In my dreamworld, I desire to open a shop where I could be offering this all in one location and take the business side of my practice out of my home. I am considering going through the Tree of Life meditationstaught in Pamela Eakins, PH.D. book, Tarot of the Spirit.
tarotnottaken Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I wish to become better at reading standard playing cards. I intend to do a reading every day to practice. I wish to become more deeply immersed in the I Ching. Oracle de Belline seems cool, but I must resist yet another deck!
RickInBakersfield Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 My goals for the upcoming years are to do the following: - Create content for my Tarot YouTube channel - Book and do my own tarot parties - Increase my face to face readings - Come up with a tarot website Rick,

I normally don't do New Year's resolutions but this year I organically fell into it! After crying around about business being so slow and generally stewing in my pity pot ... I scraped myself off the floor and started a new creative project for my business. Ironically [and thankfully] business picked-up, so I felt the Universe gave me confirmation that i'm on the right track with the new project. I've already made a decent start, so the resolution is to build on this start in a sustained, consistent, and balanced way. 4 hours ago, Toreador said: My resolution for the coming new year is direct and quantifiable. I LOVE a quantifiable goal 😇 Mine is similar vis a vis working on my new project in a consistent way [as opposed to working like a fiend and getting burnt-out]. Ive not yet established the schedule -- I'm experimenting to see what works. So my goal for now is to establish the schedule and then stay with it. Wishing you the blessing of consistent development for 2025 💖 3 hours ago, FindYourSovereignty said: My Tarot focus for this year has multi-layers. ... Wishing you a productive and prosperous 2025 and luck with your shop idea! LOL my struggle has been getting my business to fit *in* my small home as I no longer have a dedicated office space. But it's coming together finally after getting rid of many possessions and much trial & error to see what works.
Scribemole Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 A rather simple one, if vague, is to turn my studies deeper rather than wider. I've flitted along the surface of too many ponds over the years and never sunk into the waters of any of them. Another is, without oversharing too much, is when conducting personal readings not to run from emotional matters the way I usually do (which is something I suppose a man has ingrained into him all his life). I often become nervous whenever I see any of the Cups, because it means coming face to face with matters of the heart rather than head or spirit. I wish all of you the best of luck in your own endeavours!
Hds27 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I am working on daily posts on IG not of my own daily draws, but of two card spreads that relate to a fun holiday for each date. It will be difficult and I’m already behind. But I’m gonna try really hard to stick with it.

ilweran Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I don't really do resolutions, so this is more of a plan - but I'm going to collate all my Greenwood info this year - basically write a book on it. I did start a few years back but got distracted by all the new things I came across, but I've finished the two years spent looking at each card and, where possible, finding the inspirations for the card images, I have lots of notes, so now is the time to organise it. I'm also going to start on looking for the inspirations for the Celtic Shaman's pack artwork. I say start, but I already have and got a bit carried away so have done quite a few of the cards already, though nothing written up yet - but I have a folder, paper, and, most importantly, a fountain pen and ink picked out.
Ferrea Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I still feel like creating a thread to reflect on 2024... My main Tarot goal for 2025 is to buy as few new decks as possible. Over the past week, I was reorganising my office/living space and shuffling around boxes of cards. So many decks! The good thing is, I feel a sense of satiation—probably because of the most beautiful decks I acquired last year. I know that the search (the hunt) is one aspect that makes collecting exciting for me. Recently, I read @Misterei's comment about search and the dopamine kicking with every click, and I thought, "Yea, sh*t. I want to reallocate my time and energy." This will actually take some retraining of habits. A subsequent goal is to study my decks (like the Sola Busca) more in-depth. I might even skip the Frazetta. In the spring, my US connection will bring three decks I bought in 2024: the PoMo, the Japaridze, and, kindly enabled by @Nemia, the Flow Tarot. I hope to sell like 30, 40 decks. Does anyone want to comment on how busy the forum market place is?
Ix Chel Posted January 3 Posted January 3 I want a depth year. A year where I buy nothing. I have enough unred books about divination on my to be read pile. I like to read more about astrology and Tarot. Listen to podcasts. And I also want to read my Tarot cards more often.

Voice-in-the-Wind Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Hey all! My plans; Learning more about Tarot, in general... And drawing my astrology chart...as in making art pieces of them... But to do that I also need to improve my drawing/ painting skills 🙂 And drawing my spiritual endeavours. And a lot of other plans, but those arent spiritual/astrology/tarot 😉👍 Grt Voice-in-the-Wind
Saturn Celeste Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Hopefully things will be more quiet this year than last, and I can concentrate taking on more students. And I have acquired more tarot decks and hope to work with them this year. I also want to take a full inventory of all my decks. BUT the new switch is coming out this year!!
