Gypsy Witch Fortune Telling Playing Cards

Has anybody worked with the Gypsy Witch? I have my own copy, I haven't unsealed it yet but I got it really cheap. Lately it's been on my radar, and I keep on reading the most curious things about the deck,. Mainly regarding how accurate and straightforward it is and how harrowing its predictions can sometimes be. I'm interested in knowing about your personal experiences with the deck tho. I'm very excited to try it. :D

I nearly bought them once but I read some threads on AT (at the time) where people were negative about the cards! I decided in the end to buy lenormand and kipper decks instead of them, they are quite similar!

 

Try them out and give your own review :) My only tip from researching them is DON'T do the spreads in the LWB, they all involve you laying out every card for any kind of question! Every card used! so time consuming and hard work! you can do small readings and ignore the LWB.

Every card?!? Since it has 52 cards it would've been grander than a Lenny grand tableau, but I think I'm going to pass for now lol. Presently my free time is quite limited, so I was hoping that it won't take too much effort to learn.

I have them. Bought a deck last fall but I couldn’t connect with them.  I ended up shelving them after a few months. I wish the LWB would be more extensive. There’s complex spreads but no detailed instructions for how to read the spreads.

 

It’s *almost* Lenormand, but then it’s not.

Was in NOLA and had a friend use these to do my reading (she is originally from Egypt, interestingly enough- but lives there now). She did a really interesting spread looking at past life connection, current situation and things to note for the future in three different lines. She shuffled the cards and spread them out in a line on the table and had me pick from the line of cards.The first was a line of 7, the second a line of 5 and the third a line of 3 cards with 1 card for the top noting the most prominent thread/theme that has persisted and needs addressed.

 

Very accurate, and while it seems like a lot of cards- each line was it's own- so almost like having 3 different readings with the the last 3+1 cards being the finale. It went quickly but was packed with info. Her own deck is so battered and worn from use, you can tell it is well loved.

 

It was enough to make me consider getting one myself- though I haven't done it yet as I just got back. I don't know if that spread is listed in the LWB but figured I would share if you decide to get them and want to try it out.

Glad I could lend another spread- she used it when she did my reading and it was spot on and went quickly. Also liked how it ended in a pyramid type shape.

I love the Gypsy Witch.  I use it to play solitaire then I read the cards that are left as my message.  It's one of the few times I read for myself.  If I win the solitaire, there is no message, I'm on an even keel.

I have this deck and I like it a lot. I can't read with it, though. But I still like the cards. They're so witchy and occult and eerie and dark. They have such a fortune-teller feel to them.

 

But I can't read them. They could be telling me I've only got six months to live, and I wouldn't be able to figure it out. Oh well, the pictures are cool.
