Yes, I agree with you 2dogs, indeed, it's likely why I like this track (a bit different from most of their other titles)!

I don't mind a bit of Marley but prefer Bill Laswell's more atmospheric ambient dub mixes on the Dreams Of Freedom album 😎.

I was lucky enough to stumble into this album by Dutch artist Kati Ran. Oliver s. Tyr from Faun plays on a couple of the tracks, which is how I found it. I am absolutely IN LOVE with it. It includes this song SOL, which is sung in English. The lyrics are so beautiful:

Come, the wheel turns

As the shadows deepen

and life is ebbing low

Hold on, before I go

Come, the wheel turns

not for the greater gifts of genius

not for thoughts more grandly bright

All the dying poets whisper, into light

We travel ‘round the sun

and only the Gods know where we run

Come, the wheel turns

We throw the windows widely open

for dim and longing visions

Once more, before I go

Come, the wheel turns

not for the greater gifts of genius

not for thoughts more grandly bright

All the dying poets whisper, into light

We travel ‘round the sun

and only the Gods know where we run

Following circles, following circles

Sun touches night

We travel ‘round the sun

and only the Gods know were we run

I hope to be going offline soon for Festivus.... so here's wishing everyone (if it's your thing, of course) a merry, and definitely not blue, Christmas!

Came across this today and thought @Little Fangand @Endymight enjoy the bit from 2:35 where the cat comes sailing through on the Egyptian royal barge😺.

That was lovely @2dogs!  I have a list of 'brain' music and added that to my list!

I have a video/song you might like.  I find the video fascinating!

This song is from my 'Trance' list.

Wow, that gives a lot of perspective! 🧐

A song that I've listened to a bit lately.

It has a bit of dark vibe that fits my current path of balancing out light and dark aspects of myself.

Two good ones there, a nice jumble of sounds by Grimes which, along with someone mentioning them on a classical music forum, has made me think of Chrome.

I’m listening to more late 20th century classical now, but If anyone’s interested...

Tōru Takemitsu (1930-1996): Rain Tree, for three percussion players (1981).

What hurts the most, is being so close,

And having so much to say and watching you walk away...

This song has been running through my mind over and over all morning for some reason. 🤔
