Magic and Witchcraft in Fiction

I never thought about it until I saw the post about a new forum but then realized I have a number of books on my Kindle app on the subject.

I've just begun Wands in a Lifetime

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HC9GCH3/

A young attorney is driven to a clients home and ends up lost in the woods. And finds she can't get out, no one magical can. And she had no idea she was a witch. Lighthearted. And includes all magical creatures.

The Innkeeper series

https://smile.amazon.com/Clean-Sweep-Ilona-Andrews-ebook-dp-B01KZM2J9M/dp/B01KZM2J9M/

The  main character keeps an inn, for you know who only. She inherited it from her lost parents and is working hard to get her yelp rating up. A little romance and very interesting in a fun way.

I'd give them both 5 stars, just on originality! The situations and possibilities would have never crossed my mind. Both light reading.

A friend of mine wrote 2 books.  I honestly advise the paperbacks instead of kindle.  It's nice sized font and re-readable!

The Eyes of March (Mantic)

https://smile.amazon.com/Eyes-March-MANTIC-Book-ebook/dp/B01MZHXXI0/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1540865708&sr=1-1&keywords=eyes+of+march

A Collection of Wyrd Sister Stories (SEMANTIC) (Volume 1)

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/1546974814/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The books follow four friends who practice different branches of magic.  The books are awesome.  When I started reading it, I loved it and became a beta reader for her.  It was awesome there were a couple times I pulled cards for some of the more complicated parts to help work out the scenes.  I highly recommend them!  X/

Just wrote both your suggestions down to check it!  I go into Amazon, Goodreads and look for books with...a bit of a magical component.

Here are a few fiction books I've read:

-Druid Isle trilogy by E. Hopman

-Iron Druid series (the best!) by Kevin Hearne

-White Raven by Diana Paxton

-The Way of Word by Brian Bates

I'm definitely going to check out the others mentioned too.
