Hedera's 30 Days of Working With The Moon

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Pasting the first 7 days here from the original thread:

DAY 1 – NEW MOON

Theme: Planning & Planting (Intention setting)

1. The preparations required for me to make room for the new (= the thing I want to manifest)

2. What I must do or prioritize for this seed to take root

3. What I may need to forsake or put on the back burner to get the results I want

DAY 2 – WAXING CRESCENT

Theme: Goals & Choices

1. The situation and the path that I am heading on

2. Something I might want to consider (another approach or another option/path entirely)

3. Advice when moving forward

DAY 3 – WAXING CRESCENT

Themes: Motives & Motivation

1. A key to motivate myself (and to keep me motivated)

2. The attitude I will benefit from

3. Where I could do with some tweaking (areas for improvement)

DAY 4 – WAXING CRESCENT

Theme: Competition & Comparison

1. Areas where I tend to compare myself to others and to put myself down

2. Something that I may perceive as a weakness or a flaw that in truth can be one of my greatest assets or blessings

3. How I inspire and motivate others (perhaps unknowingly).

DAY 5 – WAXING CRESCENT

Theme: Commitments & Responsibilities

1. My experiences regarding commitments and expectations of others

2. Potential blocks and challenges I have around traditions and responsibilities (internal or external)

3. Advice on finding the approach that would work best for me

DAY 6 – WAXING CRESCENT

Theme: Exploration & Adventure

1. Something that I secretly yearn to experience or explore

2. Who or what has held me back in the past

3. What can help me to take the plunge; to chase after my dreams or fulfill my potential.

DAY 7 – WAXING CRESCENT

Theme: Building & Expanding

1. The foundation that is now solid enough for me to start building upon (something that is worth building on)

2. A glimpse of what could possibly be achieve.

3. A good strategy to accomplish this

When I signed up for this, I wasn't sure which deck to use - or maybe several decks? One for each week? A different one every day?

But then the Dark Mansion arrived, and there is no question  - that is the one I will use.

(In my notes I tend to shorten it to 'DM', which is confusing because that is also how I abbreviate the Deviant Moon... 😄 Oh well!)

I will probably do these draws in the evening, and first write about them in my journal; I do my best thinking with ink on paper.

I'm hoping to transcribe or summarize them the same or the next day, but I might have to catch up on typing out several days throughout the week - we'll see how it goes.

Looking forward to it! 🙂

Haha, well, that didn't exactly work out as planned... :D

I've barely touched my cards lately!

I might try again in August - although it looks like that New Moon is on the 31st of July, which is a bit awkward since my mother will probably be staying at my place then (she doesn't mind tarot at all, but I prefer to be on my own for that kind of thing)

We'll see.

..... August 30th it is then! 😄

Probably better timing anyway; as often happens in summer, I'm not feeling very taroty at the moment.

This usually improves as the days grow shorter and the evenings longer
