Also, came across this handy Out of Print list for Llewellyn - unfortunately can't search it, but at least you can see which decks (or books!) have been discontinued.

https://booksellers.llewellyn.com/resources_optitles.php?start=0&imprint=1

@Rodney was kind enough to let me know that Llewellyn changed the above OOP link so it no longer shows the OOP list.  He kindly directed us to their new list, but sadly it is more cumbersome to use than the original.  That being said, if you really wanted to keep up with OOP decks (and books) it will do in a pinch.  Thanks Rodney 🙂

Updated Llewellyn OOP list

Aww, guess I won't get that copy of Wicked Voodoo Sex now. The OOP list is exhausting; I skimmed through all 48 pages. There were only a couple of decks on it I might have wanted at one time, and quite a few going out-of-print that I never knew were in print. The Tarot of the Master is one I used to want and the Fey Tarot is another. I see the Llewellyn Sola Busca is going (but I understand that's not the one I should buy anyway), as is the Universal Tarot of Marseille.

Surprised to see they were going to discontinue the Tarot of the Master, but I suppose they have put out several reproductions lately...

surpised they let the original wizards tarot expire to replace it,,

It is such a prime deck that I feel there must be an hidden reason,, ,

will buy Barbara moore version of course. but hopefully corine jenner version comes back into print.

Ha!  I just googled Wicked Voodoo Sex to see what it was about . On the back of the book, it mentions the 'Pythoness Sexual Oracle', which now has my attention LOL.

All joking aside, the OOP list is rather extensive.  Same - I skimmed it just to have a quick looksie and see if anything I wanted.

I agree with you! It's puzzling since the Corinne Kenner Wizard's Tarot is fantastic. I was just looking through it the other day and still rather amazed it went out of print so quickly.  It's a great RWS based deck.  I will buy the new one too, as it looks so fantastic, but I personally feel there's room for both. The artwork is plenty different on both.   Clearly, people like Wizards stuff.  But maybe it Corrine's deck didn't sell that well?

I guess it's still early yet, but I added a couple of new catalogues to the list.  🙂

Just added the Llewellyn Spring/Summer 2020  and the Lo Scarabeo 2020 Catalogues 🙂

The URL for the Llewellyn OOP appears to have changed. https://booksellers.llewellyn.com/resources_optitles.php?start=0&imprint=1 takes me to a general Booksellers page. From there I can get to https://www.llewellyn.com/optitles.php, which is all OOP LLewellyn titles not just tarot. Since I can't get to the original URL, I don't know if that's what was originally listed. I couldn't access that URL through the Wayback machine either.

Hey @Rodney thanks for the heads up on that link. Yes, it appears to have been entirely changed from when I originally posted it.  I guess they’ve got it behind a password wall now only for official booksellers. it’s too bad as it was a handy list, and although it wasn’t strictly tarot only, it was reasonably easy to look through to see what went OOP.  I will remove that link above.

Thanks again

My goodness, the forthcoming Heaven & Earth tarot from Lo Scarabeo is stunning. It took my breath away. I cannot wait to see more of the cards!

Oh, wow, Tarot of the Origins is coming back (as Primordial)! That was my first 78 card reading deck. Definitely not RWS meanings, but if you're looking for something different, it's got a strong and memorable point of view due to it's focus on early humans and Sergio Toppi's art.

(After it was out of print Ric at Lo Scarabeo said on Aeclectic that he thought it was one of the best decks they had ever published, although he also said its energy is "raw" and it might be an acquired taste.)

Thanks for the links! Great, Lo Scarabeo will release two new Anima Antiqua decks! Those are instant buy! Also, I'm pretty sure I'll get the Heaven & Earth Tarot. Looks gorgeous! Not sure if I'm buying the regular set or the Kit...

I agree about Corine Kenner's Wizards Tarot, the companion book to that deck is also fabulous.  I loved how it set up Mandrake Academy and you had your Year and Day course work.  Spreads for all the majors as part of the lessons.  I am just so glad that I ordered it when it was released.  I will also be getting the new one, but still scratiching my head over them letting the original Wizards Tarot as well as the Victorian Fairy Tarot which is an amazing deck as well.

Hmmm       Looks like they've done a "hurry-up and sell some!" Frida Kahlo Deck.  HA!  Some here know there's a MUCH better one comin' round the corner.

UGH. But that isn't LoS's fault - it's a Fournier deck. They sometimes sell those on Fournier's behalf.

Guess I need to use the ZOOM IN.  I really can't read those catalogs.  Off to see...

eta:  yes it is Fournier.  Thanks! but it is just butt-ugly.  Brighter note, I am one who is also very excited for the Primordial (Origins) re-release.

I'm bummed I still haven't seen any news about Ana Tourian's Abyss Tarot, which should be forthcoming from US Games. Has anyone come across one of their catalogues?
