Mi-Shell
I do have a suggestion for a weekly spread: 1 - What opportunities should I look for this week - in my physical world ? 2- What opportunities should I look for this week - in my none physical world / realm ? Mi-Shell
My deck of the week - and maybe further weeks will be one I do have since 20 years and never realllllly looked into: The Faery Wicca Tarot It all began when I found a pack of cards held together with a rubber band - $ 5.00 in a charity shop. Friends on AT helped me to find out, that it is the Faery Wicca Tarot. Then, quite a while later I found for another small amount the book, that goes with this deck. It is a hefty volume of 420 pages! None of the cards do have regular English titles - I suspect, I will have to learn some Irish...... I can not promise, that I will fully delve into this "otherworldly adventure", but for this week I want to at least see, what is involved and try to make up my mind, how much of me I will invest into this. The journey starts with a visit to AT: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/faery-wicca/ .... and then a check on Tarot passages: http://www.tarotpassages.com/faery.htm It is a bit strange, to go to these old haunts, who's halls are now empty........ Mi-Shell
Another allure of this deck is, that I have a wonderful box for it. From Ghana, all beautifully tooled leather dark green, just right for an Irish deck. Several times over the years I was tempted to evict this deck out of there and put another one into it, one that I will use often..... But this week the beautiful box will get used daily and its leathery smell has gently infused the well worn cards.
Raggydoll
I decided to pair the Supra oracle with the enchanted spell oracle. It felt like they would work well together and so far I quite like it. These both cards had the energy of the Fool to me. Very liberating and inspiring!

Mi-Shell
Using the weekly spread, that I posted above: 1-What opportunities should I look for this week - in my physical world? 1 Ace of Domham this seems to be the Ace of Coins/ Pentacles I see a LARGE red bone engraved with ? Ogham an X and a partial Triskelion. There is a black moon over a dark, leafless tangled Wood- a barrier- to keep someone out or keep someone in?? The golden pentacle is resting just where it begins on a broad path. The word Power immediately lets me think:”do I need any Power?? NO! In my life and my shamanic work I have more than enough of that and oftentimes power is more of a devious obstacle – like the wood tangle – than a help. This however pertains to my physical realm = me sitting at home during lock-down.... Just as I was thinking, that actually, I am OK with that – Wrump – the Power went out!! Here in Canada, Electricity is called “Power” or even more often “Hydro”, since it comes from hydroelectric. Yes, THAT power I would like to come back as soon as possible! I / we might have a big red bone to pick with the local power company: Every time it rains and most often in a thunderstorm like the one right now, our power goes out...... So, I am now sitting in my tangled woods, waiting for my Power to re-appear..... ......so I can post this first reading. 2- What opportunities should I look for this week - in my none physical world / realm ? Banrion of Uisce!?? What is That? The Queen of Cups? The card also says: Fand, the Faery Queen She is wearing a rather skimpy dress – for her age - and I notice she sits by the sea next to a golden caldron out of which “fumes of some sort” are rising up. I hope, it is lots of mosquito spray, because in this parts she will need that dearly right now – But luckily, she seems to be in the Otherworld and her smile encourages me to enter her realm, the realm of this deck and explore. That I will do with gusto! It is the opportunity I have been waiting for. With no “power” and pooooouring rain outside, it is the ideal time to stick my nose into the book of Fairie Wicca. Bodhiseed
This week I'll be using two self-published decks: The Bonefire Tarot by Gabrielle Angus-West (now released by Schiffer) and the Day of the Dead Lenormand by Edmund Zebrowski. Today's draws are the Queen of Coins and Garden: The epitome of practicality meets creative genius in the form of the Queen of Coins. She nurtures people through physical forms. The Garden, a card of gathering and good times, should be right up her alley. But how does this happen in a pandemic, where park gatherings get dispersed by the police? This Queen would probably quote Einstein: "One should never impose one's views on a problem." In other words, stop trying to fit what you want in a box of how it should be and instead just open up to how it is. Expectations and preconceived ideas will always shrink possibilities down to thimble-size. My husband and I had our own garden party with his sister and husband in their driveway this weekend. We spaced our chairs apart and all wore masks, and I brought them a big vase of hydrangeas from our yard. The breeze was blowing and the conversation enjoyable. It wasn't typical, but it was still fun. Edited May 31, 2020 by Bodhiseed

Madame Squee
Thank you for the thread, VG I'm in with the Enchanted Forest Tarot, which arrived a couple of months ago. I tried reading with it for a few days but got distracted. Now, I've settled it into a pouch I made last Halloween and tucked it under my pillow. Raggydoll
Today’s pull: To me this means that divine breath/holy essence is best felt through solitude. Especially if there has been an experienced disconnect.
Raggydoll
I often ask my cards for advice regarding creative projects, and especially when I’m about to start working on another card in my deck. This time, the advice felt clear: look for synchronicities to find reassurance as to what needs to come forth in my art. The guidebook for the enchanted spell oracle complements that by stating that I need to withdraw and create in solitude, and that it is then I will experience enchantment from the flow of inspiration that comes to me. I feel like both of these decks work really well when paired with another deck. The Supra oracle would probably be the one that reads good on its own. The spell oracle feels like it is more limited in its use. I personally don’t think I would use it for a spread or pull more than one card at a time. Mi-Shell
I realized, that just doing my daily 3 card draw and then reading up on them in the extensive book does not work with this deck. The lore and all the complicated associations and symbols added to the images are explained consecutively, so when I draw the 4 of Air and have not read Ace to 3 of Air and all the beginning of the book, the text does not make any sense and the card image loose context I will have to put the deck back in order and start from the beginning. So, if I do this next week, I will need a second deck for my daily draws........
