Bodhiseed
This week I'll be using the Rohrig Tarot, created by Carl W. Rohrig and published by Sirio. I also have a companion book written by the artist and Francesca Marzano-Fritz and published by Bluestar Communications. The other deck I'll be drawing from is called a tarot, but I'll be using it as an oracle: the Master Tarot. It was created by Amerigo Folchi and Mario Montano and published by AG Muller. Today's cards are the Ace of Swords and The Wolves: The Ace of Swords shines like a beacon in the night, representing clarity and truth. The truth may be what can set us free, but we often don't want to hear or see it. We'd prefer something more in line with our desires or opinions - something that makes us feel calm and content. Enter the Wolves, a card based on the verse in Matthew that refers to wolves in sheep's clothing. They will tell us exactly what we prefer: "Want to lose weight without changing your diet or exercising? We have a pill for you!" "Want to shut yourself off from what's going on in the world and not concern yourself with anyone else's problems? Have a bottle of wine and subscribe to Netflix." The easy, quick solution is rarely a permanent or beneficial one. However tough it might be to swallow, it's probably better to open our ears and eyes to reality. So how do I meet this moment without adequate training or a preexisting playbook that even comes close to the reality that’s unfolding? The answer, it seems, is one breath at a time. —Tynette Deveaux
Mi-Shell
OK, I just was loooooking for another of my Celtic decks to compare something with the Fairy Wicca Tarot book, when I fumbled across my African American Tarot. And - with all that is going on in the world right now, this one "stuck to my fingers" So this week, I will use it as my daily draw deck

Raggydoll
Right now I am working with the Motherpeace tarot. I have been experimenting with the Motherpeace layout spread and I really like it. It feels like a very solid spread, much like the celtic cross in its balanced design. I am also testing the fate spread that is mentioned in the book on Motherpeace rituals (I was gifted this deck and several of the accompanying books by Pathwalker and I am so grateful for it). There is a suggestion to do the Fate spread every day for one year and a day, and that is something I might consider committing to once I have tested it out a bit more. If I do, then I will also do as they suggest and purchase a second copy of the deck (likely the mini version) to set aside on my altar just for the fate reading. That foundation of that reading is to separate the deck in three piles (majors, courts, minors) and then pull a card from each pile every day to reflect on and evaluate at night (the spread is more complicated than that, see link below if you wish to know more). And I want to keep on doing regular readings with my deck too, so that is why it would be very handy with an extra copy. If you have not heard of the mother peace layout spread it is featured here And the fate spread is featured here
VGimlet
I think the color version of the Mythical Creatures is one of my favorite tarots by Baba Studios, and I have most of their decks. It's just stunning, and even though the pips are mostly scenic, this is just a lovely all-around deck. the cards are silky, the coloring is delicate and detailed. I found it easy to read with and shuffle, and just all out beautiful.
