Cary-Yale Visconti Tarocchi Deck

The textured nature of the cards is an illusion, these cards are not textured though perhaps the original cards are. In many cases it is difficult to see the art - for example the two of wands. There are 22 cards that are lacking in the Cary-Yale deck. Ninteen of the missing cards (of which Temperance is one) were created by artist Luigi Scapini. Three virtues substitute for three of the missing cards: Charity for The Popess, Faith for the Pope, and Hope for the Star. The cards are too thick to riffle shuffle. This deck is from the 80’s.
