Details: Art includes collage. No AI was used. Photo shows The Fool, 7 of Pixels (Wands), Ace of Glitches (Cups), card back, and on the second row the 5 of Glitches, Queen of Illusions (Swords) 6 of Components (Pents) and LWB. With the exception of courts, cards have a different title for upright or reversed (or if like me you don't read reversals, a second title to consider within the range of meanings for a card.) 10s are numbered Ø.

The art is surreal; the color pallet is meant to remind you of back in the day, and the theme is front and center throughout. It's not a RWS clone by any means, and not a deck I'd recommend for beginners.

Review: The imagery of many cards in this deck very closely follows the artwork of Pamela Colman Smith, while the rest veer off into other interesting interpretations.  Calandra is a fantasy artist who uses airbrush, acrylics, and colored pencil, and works with live models.  You can see some repetition of faces throughout the deck.  Occasionally, perspective and/or proportions are off, both of which can be distracting.  There is some diversity in skin color and body type.  The artwork is mostly Rennaissance-ish, with some Goth and a little bit of Steampunk thrown in, while adding modern elements here and there, such as people wearing glasses.  Although Calandra is a fantasy artist whose work has appeared on the cover of Heavy Metal magazine, his drawings of women in this deck generally show them modestly dressed and not overly voluptuous in most cases.  There is nudity in the Lovers card, and almost-nudity in the Star card but, in my opinion, neither is gratuitous.  Every card is colorful and detailed.  The card backs are very pretty and will accommodate those who read reversals.

This new reprint is for the 250th Austen anniversary and has some changes and now called "Jane Austen Tarot". Different Deck Versions: There are different versions of the same deck and also different names. Some boxes have the Golden Tarot of Klimt but some, Klimt Tarot. There is a deluxe version of the Golden Tarot with a gold Klimt bag, this is now OOP. There is also a mini tarot (card size 1.7" x 3.1"), published in 2015 called "Klimt Tarot: Pocket Golden Edition"
