About me. This is my first deck, which I learned thru a companion app. So I don't have much experience. But i hope the review and pictures help anyway.
About the creator. The Golden Thread Tarot by Labyrinthos was created by a girl named Tina Gong. She is very creative and productive. She is also very sweet and kind, exhibited through emails.

About the deck. The deck uses minimalistic line pictures printed with gold foil onto a card made of sleek, black, matte, plastic. Each card is about 4.75 inches by 2.75 inches in size. And the whole deck is a little under an inch thick. It also comes with a black cardboard case with gold foil printing. The deck contains the traditional number of cards (78) and naming conventions of RWS. The artwork contains girls, boys, and hybrids. Some of the girls and boys are nude.

The Everyday Witch by Deborah Blake was published by Llewellyn in 2017 as a deck and book set.  My first impressions on seeing images online were that it was just another teen witch deck.  I was wrong.  Yes, it will appeal to that audience, but there is much more to it than that, and it has something to offer more mature readers as well.

the common at least far as i know advice today is for a person to start with 3 card spreads before moving on to 5, 7 cards etc.. as the more skill you are the more you can add cards almost like you are leveling up in a video game..
for many the celtic cross may seem old school, an perhaps out of its place old throwback to a time where there wasn't much knowledge made about spreads so you had to do with what you got in the books or little white book .
most of your information back in the day before internet and tarot ideas became wide spread ,, the lwb had to have a spread you could use !  so that is how imo,, the celtic cross became the go to spread..
over time you see more and more spreads though in books,,like I remember looking at all  the spreads in the arturian book and being amazed.. then eventually you power tarot spreads.

if one does a search like i did on tarot spreads you actually see good one listing,, the one i am talking about power tarot cam...
