  1. I finally posted the remaining cards and interpretations. Got terribly behind due to unforseen circumstances, but am so glad I did the reading. I hope all of you found your readings to be what you needed. Mine was a kind reminder and suggestion on what to spend time on this summer and a reminder of important aspects going forward.
  2. The Stardust Tarot, another Kickstarter return: The True Black Tarot: https://trueblacktarot.com/ The El Goliath Tarot includes several cards with figures set against dark backgrounds, but some light ones as well: https://theelgoliathtarotdeck.com/products/the-el-goliath-tarot-deck Finally, some decks other than tarot: The Moon flower art deck: https://themoonjournal.com/collections/art-decks/products/moon-flower The Swan and moon deck: https://themoonjournal.com/collections/art-decks/products/swandeck The Plantlore herb art cards: https://themoonjournal.com/collections/art-decks/products/plantlore-cards
  3. The Visionary Tarot, currently running a Kickstarter for a gilded edition: The Golden Thread Tarot: https://labyrinthos.co/products/golden-thread-tarot-deck-cards The first edition Persephone tarot, if I remember correctly, but please doublecheck: https://www.asaliearthwork.com/shop/persephonetarot (for images, normally available from https://circotarot.com/ and https://littleredtarot.com/product/persephone-tarot-first-edition/) I know there are more, will post if I remember. Good luck!
  4. I use the elegant theme, and a filter. The resulting, filtered stream comes up when clicking on one of the icons at the very top of the page. The icon that looks like a piece of paper with its top right corner folded down that is. Hope this helps. Good luck fiddling with your forum settings!
  5. I'm afraid I have no input on the Star tarot, but remember that someone else who liked it also liked the Dreamkeepers tarot, so perhaps that can be of use: https://www.lizhuston.com/dreamkeeperstarot
  6. How exciting! Great logo. Wishing you the very best in your new venture.
  7. The Mesquite Tarot: https://www.mesquitetarot.com Human figures of different colours. The Dark Goddess Tarot: http://www.darkgoddesstarot.com Goddesses from all over the world.
  8. I don't know if the aesthetics of these decks will appeal to you, but they are not quite your standard oracle decks and worth a look: The Inner Compass Cards: https://innercompasscards.com/ More images are available on Instagram, if you want to have a browse. The Magic Neko Deck: https://www.etsy.com/listing/610015776/the-magic-neko-deck-playing-card-and Images of all cards are available here. You can use the brief guide, your knowledge of correspondences between playing cards, tarot and the tree of life or your intuition when reading them. The Sacred Creators Oracle: https://chris-anne.com/product/sacred-creator-oracle-deck-order/ A flip through can be found here: Somenone else mentioned the Pathfinder Oracle Deck, which will be available soonish. I think the Kickstarter page may have the most info so far: Happy deck hunting!
  9. Watching flip throughs on YouTube or looking through all of the cards on the publisher's website, if possible, is a great way of getting acquainted with a deck for me, so I agree with joy[/member]. I use my copy of the Ostara tarot a lot and read plenty of reviews before getting it. It gives kind and clear readings, for me, but I know others have found it less gentle and more to the point. When I'm obtuse, it will give me the same card/s until I catch on, which is fair enough. :) I read that someone on the forum does not like the quality of the cards and find them plastic-like, so perhaps watch a flip through to get a feel of the quality or visit your local tarot shop and have a feel, if possible? Just so that they appeal to you. The silver on the edges seems to peel a little at first for most people, but unless you are adverse to glitter it shouldn't be a problem. :) I'm afraid I can't provide any input on how it compares to the RWS as I've never used it! :) Good luck and enjoy your new deck, whichever one you choose!
  10. The card that really bugged me in that deck is the one called Eva. I initially was so drawn to it but then I did the huge mistake of picking up the guidebook. I was just curious of hearing what the creator thought of that card. Her interpretation felt like something out of the old testament. I'm just gonna leave it at that. You can google the picture if you like. It would be interesting to hear your initial thoughts. I read this a while ago, but forgot to post, but better late than never. :) So sorry to hear of your experiences with the Oracle of mystical moments, Raggydoll[/member] . I told an acquaintance about the deck a while ago because the aesthetics of it are very much her cup of tea, and I thought she would enjoy it. Unfortunately the guidebook will most definitely not be to her liking, based on your description. Don't know if she ever got the deck. I might have to ask if she did, and if so, how it works for her. Eva speaks to me of knowledge, exploration and growth, travels to faraway lands and just the slightest risk of poisoning. Overall, it is rather delightful. I shudder to think what the guidebook says. What is your take on the card, disregarding the guidebook? Can you use your deck without referring to the guidebook or has it spoiled it for you? In addition to your impression of it being unbalanced, that is. I was eagerly awaiting the creator's tarot deck, but feel ambivalent after taking part of your guidebook observation.
  11. The cards are beautiful. Arabella[/member], I would love a reading, if you are still interested in giving one. I will be happy to provide feedback or to do a tarot reading for you in exchange. Let me know what you prefer!
  12. Hey There is a reccent thread on it right here: https://www.thetarotforum.com/esoteric/how-do-i-know-when-to-stop/msg77857/#msg77857 So it seems it is a question that comes up for people. :)
  13. I haven't listened to any of these, but like other stuff the people involved have done, so here goes: The Witch Wave has several episodes on tarot: https://podtail.com/sv/podcast/the-witch-wave/ Open Magic is hosted by a tarot reader: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/open-magic Tarot for the wild soul is all about tarot: https://wildsoulpodcast.com/blog Hope there is something for you to enjoy there.
  14. I guess I'm the opposite, I just know. Sometimes I notice I've lost track of my question and then, likewise, I just know to start over again, with focus. It's just the way it works for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Interested to know more about what it is like for others, though.
