I’m tackling Kabbalistic Tarot...love it! Although, it may take a bit longer than one year...

I am also going to try committing to a daily tarot practice. I've fallen off tarot a bit in 2018 as making art became more of a priority. I used to never do daily draws because, as a disabled housebound person, I saw no point. Every day was usually the same, so seeking daily advice felt pointless. But now that I'm slowly having more obligations in my life, a daily draw makes more and more sense for me to do.

this sounds interesting. In aid of that I found this 2019 moon phase to print
https://www.calendar-12.com/moon_phases/2019

I seldom do readings for myself because my life is so mundane...so I'll start with mundanes.

That's a great link - and it showed the info for the moon phases in my local timezone! I might schedule some Tarot readings around the moon phases as well, which is about once a week or so. Either readings or meditating with a card.

I plan to bring more meditation and mindfulness to my tarot studies through a deeper understanding of each card selected for the day.

I had this epiphany this morning about the card of the day. It's important because it helps us to build our own experience and meaning with the cards, making our own associations. And, importantly, it gives us a focus for the day to observe our own interactions with the world.

So now when I select a card I ask "What shall I observe today?"

For example, today I selected the Ten of Swords (which is really brutal in the Shadowscapes deck). But I chose to see it as a learning opportunity for understanding that card by looking at how those feelings manifest, and the impact it has on me. While remembering that if something bad happened, it's the card for the DAY, not my entire life.

I actually had a great day and went out and enjoyed myself. But I've learned my association with that card is releasing harmful delusions, and also not allowing fear of ruination to rule my life.

My Tarot plans for 2019 are pretty simple. I'm dedicating all my energies to building a professional Tarot business.

My life is very stable now even though, we all know that old thing about the best laid plans of mice and men, so unforeseen things might come along. However, I know without so much as a smidgen of a doubt that my home here is permanent. No more having to wonder what next and face having to pack up and move yet again.

I'll be opening an online store for my arts and crafts sales. I'm working on items for that. I want to build some inventory before I open that, though. Everything will be geared toward Tarot and other divination methods. It will be quite diverse, too. Everything from jewelry and apparel to card cases, soft sculptures and oil paintings.  Everything will relate in some way to divination.

I'm really glad you're excited about it, Raven. I hope others will be, too. My work is time-consuming and mostly one-of-a-kind, so it takes me a little while to produce items but I like to think they're worth it. Nobody has disliked my stuff yet.  X-D

I used to do custom work, but I prefer to just produce items and sell them as I create them now. If anyone would like to see certain things, I'm certainly open to suggestions and working on something similar. I just prefer not to take orders. There's a lot of pressure for speed with that and what I do isn't able to be speeded up much. For instance, I created a wedding neck piece for my grand-daughter's wedding on Halloween. I worked for 10 days straight, doing nothing else but beading on it every waking minute, but it still took me ten days to complete.

Have my wife's deck published.I took a break from my personal project and made her a deck for Christmas.

Now she is assuming I shall put as much effort into her deck as I do my personal decks...

Well that's gonna burn up a year of my life...and a pile of money I'm sure.
