This is more of an idea than an actual spread, but I thought I would share it in case anyone is interested. The intention is to do a chakra-check up where you lay out one or more cards to review the state of each chakra.

I started by taking out the Animal Spirit deck since it has 7 trump cards that represent each of the chakras. I placed them in a row, ordered from the first to the seventh chakra (left to right, but you can also place them vertically, starting at the bottom and going up. I just did not have enough space to do that). I also added corresponding crystals to further enhance and tap into the separate energies. Below these I then drew and placed cards from the Wild Unknown tarot. My main reason for using these two particular decks is that they are 'sister' decks and created by the same person. So they not only look matching but they also carry similar and complementing energies.

(Obviously, if you do not have any of these decks you can still definitely do this. You can mark each position with a stone or with a piece of paper. And you can use any deck that you feel called toward using. Definitely do your own thing with this! And these crystals that I picked are ones that were in my collection and that I feel resonate with my view of each chakra. But there are so many options you can go with and I suggest that you work with what you have on hand <3)

This is the basic layout (pictured below):

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

1= Root/Base chakra, Phoenix (red jasper)
2 = Sacral chakra, Sea Serpent (sunstone)
3 = Solar Plexus chakra, Dragon (citrine)
4 = Heart chakra, Golden Egg (jade)
5 = Throat chakra, Black Egg (apatite)
6 = Third eye, Unicorn (lapis lazuli)
7 = Crown chakra, Cosmic Egg (selenite)

Then you simply shuffle the other deck and place one or more cards below each chakra. If you use reversals then you can interpret those as energy blocks or as areas that is in need of some extra love and attention.

I also wanted to add a little bit of information about how I view each chakra and what correspondences I work with, in case you are fairly new to this but still want to try this out!

1. ROOT CHAKRA / MULADHARA
Color: Deep red (earthy or even blood like)
Element: Earth
Description: This chakra represents our very core; our foundation, or roots and our basic survival instincts. This is where we have a sense of belonging and a sense of safety and security. When our root chakra is in balance then we feel like we have a right to exist and that we do not have to earn our place here. We feel like we have a place and a function and that we are important. We feel safe; like we have stability and an sufficient amount of predictability in our life. We feel like we are entitled to have things, to own them; To have a home and to have possessions that make our lives better.

2. SACRAL CHAKRA / SVADHISTANA
Color: Deep orange
Element: Water
Description: This is the home of the divine feminine - of Kundalini herself. The Sacral chakra hold our feelings, our creativity; our hopes and fears - as well as our sensuality and our sexuality. This is the core of intimacy and trust; of having nurturing relationships and healthy boundaries. It provides us with curiosity and openness toward life. When our Sacral chakra is balanced we feel confident and entitled to our feelings; there is no emotion that we are not allowed to express or embrace. We feel like we our in touch with our creativity and our playfulness. We feel comfortable and secure with being intimate. We trust that we can be vulnerable and that we will be respected. That we have a right to be seen and reflected by others. We feel that we have the right to all our senses; that we can feel physical pleasure and experience the beauty around us.

3. SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA / MANIPURA
Color: Yellow
Element: Fire
Description: This is our true, authentic selves. It is our drive force; our energy and our tenacity. Our passion, dedication and our commitment. This is the chakra that helps us get things done. It provides us with a 'gut feeling' and an instinct; of knowing what we want and what is right for us. It gives us confidence to be in the center of attention. It allows us to prioritize ourselves and our dreams and desires. When this chakra is balanced we know that we have the right choose whether we want to say yes or no; if we want to act on something or not. It helps us understand that we are entitled to have preferences and to act on them. Our opinions matter!

4. HEART CHAKRA / ANAHATA
Color: Green or pink
Element: Air/wind/plants (depending on who you ask)
Description: This is the home of our soul; our inner guide or compass. It controls how we approach and view relationships; how well we are able to express emotions and empathy. It also regulates our openness and our level of harmony; how well we are able to find balance in the process of giving and taking. When this chakra is balanced we feel kind and compassionate toward others as well as toward ourselves. We understand that we have the right to feel loved and to experience wholeness. We feel a greater sense of gratitude. It becomes easier to forgive and to let go of whatever it is that is not serving us. We allow ourselves to grieve properly.

5. THROAT CHAKRA / VISHUDDHA
Color: Blue
Element: Ether/Spirit/Life
Description: This is the place where we find our authentic voices. It gives us a sense of security and confidence. It allows us to speak our minds and express ourselves freely and creatively. It determines how we communicate with others and in what ways we express our opinions and emotions. It will indirectly also affect how you are perceived by others and what position/status you hold in your community. When this chakra is balanced we are able to inspire others. We realize the power our words have and how we can manifest what we say and what we envision. We also feel a sense of responsibility; we honor our promises and we stick to our words. We feel less drawn toward gossip and lies. We say what it is we actually are thinking and we feel a great sense of relief by doing so. We are more in line with our deepest beliefs and we feel proud of ourselves; that we are doing ourselves justice and living out our potential. We are inevitably also more open and respectful towards what other people has to say.

6. THIRD EYE / ANJA
Color: Purple/violett/indigo
Element: The energy of stars/light
Description: This is the center of reflection; philosophy and perception. It is not only where our intelligence stem from, but also where we experience faith, intuition and a greater consciousness. It is the source of our higher wisdom and our connection to the divine. This is also the chakra for our dreams and our Sight (clairvoyance, and the ability to see through time). When this chakra is balanced we feel like we can perceive or sense a bigger picture. Our imagination is heightened and we can visualize as well as create magic in our lives. We listen to our intuition and it comes through clearly. There is a sense of a greater understanding and a deep level of wisdom that we can tap into.

7. CROWN CHAKRA / SAHASRARA
Color: White/purple
Element: Spirit
Description: This center is like our umbilical cord to the divine and to our divine essence. It is what creates the sense of connection between all living creatures. It is the infinite within the mundane. It is completion and a deep sense of wholeness. It is non-dependence. When this chakra is balanced we are able to love and accept ourselves. We recognize ourselves in others and we allow them to recognize themselves in us. We feel unconditional love. And we no longer feel like we are attached to, or yearning after, material things. We also feel that there is a greater purpose and force behind everything. We can meditate more easily and the act of prayer or spiritual dedication is greatly fulfilling.

@Raggydoll I love this! <3 I have both of the decks that you used, and I love the combination of them in this spread. I'm going to have to try this spread and see how it works for me. :)
