For me, when I do readings I usually only use the cards that fall out. From personal experience I have found these cards to be the most pertinent to the reading. So I will keep shuffling until I have the number of cards I need or no more fall out or the number of cards starts getting too much, sometimes changing decks if I feel the need.

I love this idea. One of the regular gods I work with is fond of throwing things when divining things. I've always paid attention to fallen cards because of that.

Ha! Love this! I had the silliest mental picture when I read this of a bearded someone standing over your shoulder and reaching over every now and then while you're mid shuffle to pull cards and throw them like a toddler throwing a tantrum XD
Not the most dignified of things to do but I'm pretty sure it's something Dionysius/Baccus would get a giggle out of trying! XD
Come faeries take me out of this dull world. For I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame. - W B Yeats

May you touch dragonflies and stars, dance with faeries and talk to the moon. - Unknown
