I have two art projects I need to work on.  They are entries for art contests and I often wait til the last possible day to start work on an entry before the submission deadline.  It's not just because I've had limited time to work on them due to my efforts to schedule things to do or events to attend in order to meet people and socialize.  It's also because I am such a procrastinator!  Well, now I have all the time in the world to work on them since I fractured my ankle two days ago and am goin

Ideas have been coming to me about a tarot-related art project—but not a deck!  At least, not yet.  I think my idea is great, but I don't want to give anything away about it just yet.  I'm excited about it and I think it will turn out well.    I have been drawing and trying to figure out what my natural style is.  I wasn't sure if I had a style, but I've realized that I do.  My art always turns out a certain way, even though I strive for it to be another way while I am creating it.  It

I don't know how often I will be updating this blog, but I'd like to use it to talk about my art projects.  My goal is to improve my skills and feel more confident about creating art.  I am still discovering my style.  Eventually, I want to create a tarot deck, but I don't want to rush into that until I am ready.
