I GOT MY FIRST ORACLE DECK!!

It's the pearls of wisdom deck, illustrated by Yana Saint Leve!!! 😄

I'm so excited to start using them, my friend got them for me for my birthday. If anyone has any tips on how to use them, please let me know.

Congrats on your new oracle 🥰

First I would look if there is a little white book with the deck or a downloadable pdf or a website, some sort of writing with it. Find out what is the artist /  creator's intention with the deck and is there a structure? An oracle can be anything, maybe there is a hierarchy of cards or suits / groupings or maybe just individual cards with different meanings. See if has instructions in some form.

Then just start using them and see how it works out.

Looking up this oracle, it says, "Pearls of Wisdom asks you to embark on a journey of mindful contemplation and to immerse yourself in its messages". So it might be more of a meditation deck. You might want to meditate with a card or pick a card for the day for a mindful message. Try it out as a single card for a message and for spreads and see how it works best for you. Really you can use it however you want, you just have to spend some time with it 🙂 .

I don't know if you also do tarot, but I have an oracle deck (The Druid Plant Oracle, by Philip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm) and I sometimes find it useful after finishing a tarot reading.  I will pull a card from the oracle deck and use its meaning to add to, or clarify, the overall result of the tarot reading.   Something new to take away from what the tarot has focused on.
