"Pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name...

I received a package today that looked like it was a book. My husband, who was expecting a book came out to see if it was addressed to him. I disappointed him when I told him it was for me. I suspected then that it was the used Thoth deck I had purchased last week. Husband remarked, "Oh great, what witchcraft is this?" I laughed and said, "You'll never guess." He left the room and returned with a white book from the US Games version of the Thoth deck. I was still trying to get the box open, pretty certain it was the Weiser edition of the deck I'd ordered. Stunned, I stopped cutting and looked at the white book he'd brought me. I was confused. "Wait, You have a Thoth deck?" He said, "No, a stack of books in my study fell over last night and this fell out of the pile." He had been joking about witchcraft and to him this was just an example of the silliness of it all. I opened the box and shocked his socks off. I laughed and said, "Well hello, Aleister. You certainly know how to make an entrance." But I was still taken aback. Neither one of us has ever owned a Thoth deck. My husband was actually a little shaken. He's perfectly fine that his wife is a bit weird, but this was kind of beyond the pale for him. I shouldn't have been surprised given that my take on Crowley was that he always needed to be the center of attention. I mean the deck I received is the biggest deck of cards I've ever seen. Seriously? I'd have to have hands worthy of the NBA to shuffle these cards. Crowley certainly doesn't appear to have mellowed with death and time. I shall tread carefully going forward with this deck.

Anyway, back to you Mick:

"Ah, what's puzzling you

Is the nature of my game, oh yeah

(Woo woo, woo woo)

I sometimes wish we had reaction buttons here. 👍😂😮😥😡

But we don't, so I have to comment: This is brilliant! I would have loved to have seen your faces. The deck will always feel a bit "special", I think. 😊

We were pretty surprised. My husband in particular.😅

This is a very fun post. My tail is wagging.

Uncle Al visits?
Oh dear. I'm probably too old for him to be interested in peeping at me in the bathtub, but with Al, you never know.

😂😂😂I’d like to see him try to peep on me in the tub! My angry 17 year old cat who always has her hackles up at something no one else can see would probably make short work of him before he got that far anyway. Sorry, Al.

Thread resurrection.  @Annaporia have you had about a year to explore your large Thoth pack?
