Sybille des Salons : numbering

I’ve recently purchased two decks of this French Sibilla. Both are published by Grimaud, the first printed entirely in French (1970) and the second in French + English (1979).

 

Curiously the numbering has changed order in the later bi-lingual 1979 deck.
 

In the earlier French edition the cards are numbered in alphabetical order but in the later edition they are numbered in order of suit. 
 

Perhaps a small change but I wondered if there was reasoning behind the change?

 

As the decks are somewhat related, should I expect similar changes in later or bi-lingual editions of Le Livre du Destin + Le Petit Cartomancien?
