Starting a thread to posts spreads and interpretations for learning Minchiate.

 

Vitali's instructions are to break the deck into 6 categories ... but they don't match the categories in the deck itself.

To use Vitali's system ... mix the 5 Airs + the 17 Trumps = 22 tarocch triunfi.

 

Minchiate structure from Etruria deck and Williams book:

• 40 pips
• 16 courts
• 17 trumps (Fool -- Tower)
• 4 Virtues (Hope, Prudence, Faith, Charity)
• 4 elements (fire, water, earth, air)
• 12 Zodiac signs
• 5 Airs = Star, Moon, Sun, World, Fame (these resemble the final 5 tarocchi trumps)

Hey @Mistereiyour title 'Minichiate Readings Thread' is confusing me. Are you going to do exchange here or discuss the methods in general?

Exchanges or Personal readings have to be either in the Exchange or the Personal Readings Subforum.

We can move this thread to the tarot exchanges section for people to post Minichiate Readings. Firecat's link will not change

You can use this thread to post links to other readings or you are welcome to post examples and work through methods here. Examples are okay. Just no personal readings outside of the other areas please.

I've been off the forum for a while.

Anyway, NOT reading exchange.

I was hoping to post readings with minchiate as examples for learning minchiate. So I guess that is both personal and discussion of method. Which makes my idea not fit neatly in either category.

Hmmm.

If readings are 100% not allowed on this thread, then I guess I should abandon ship on this thread.

Good question. It arose b/c I learn by doing. I wanted to participate in the minchiate thread ... but the discussions of meaning just fly over my head.

So I wanted to post actual spreads on real questions ... specifically using vitali's method or spreads from Williams' book ... definitely not free for all ... very targeted to minchiate and the (only?) two writers who have written about minchiate for divination.

Sorry this is an ambiguous reply!

Most ppl on a regular tarot thread can not give help on minchiate anyway ... so that spoke against posting in the "regular" readings threads.

But, hey, happy to along with whatever is most correct etiquette.
