Aliki
Do you consider the Tarot De Marseille a deck someone who knows the rws tarot or someone who reads intuitively can be able to read with it or both?
Misterei
Some ppl prefer TdM b/c they say the illustrations on RWS are too limiting. TdM gives them more freedom with intuition. For me? I loved only RWS style for 40+ years. But now some change happened and I fell in love with old style Italian Tarocchi cards and some modern “pip” decks. I find the French TdM cards to be ugly. Some ppl love them. But to your point … some ppl who always read RWS style don’t like pip decks because there isn’t “enough” … they miss the more elaborate scenes in the pips. For me it’s the spread. I like RWS with Celtic Cross and Tarocchi / TdM style with French cross. So I use the style of cards to match the spread. Other readers don’t care and use the same spread for TdM or RWS. From some Italian decks I've seen so far they do look like little artworks ☺️ Thank you @Misterei this was really enlightening
