I'm looking for a large deck!

Featured Replies

Hello, it's been a while since I've visited the forum, I've been busy lol. But I'm on a little quest and I think you folks can help.

By large I mean larger than the standard size RWS or Lo Scarabeo/US Games decks. Something up to 6 inches long and 4 inches wide is the max of what I'm looking for, so not quite as huge as the Giant RWS or the Professional Universal Tarot. The main ones I've been seeing around are Wildwood Tarot, Druid Craft, and I believe the Guiardians of the Night tarot is also quite big and looks really nice. I would love to hear more suggestions for any large scale decks you have!

Nice to see you back around the place again @Runa

I've moved this thread to the Tarot Decks section which fits what you are looking for better 🙂

My aplologies, I forgot about the separate section for deck discussion!

I used to have a pretty large version of Thoth deck.  I don't know if they still make it. It was lovely.

What about "The Goddess Tarot" by Kris Waldherr? The cards are 8, 5 cm X 12 cm.

And then we have "Crow Tarot" by MJ Cullinane. The cards are 8 X almost 13 cm.

And last "Ravyness Drakon Tarot" by Beth Seilonen. The cards are 9 cm X 13 cm.

Among my large decks, my favorites are the Didactic, Thoth, and the De Vecchi Minchiate Fiorentine. Check 'em out.

Jumbledance recently came out in mass market - cards are 14 cm by 7.5 cm. I do have the original which I haven't used much for fear of HURTING it - I'd forgotten just how much I love it.

@Misterei the large Thoth is still available - it;s from AGM and still on Amazon and on the AGM/Urania site. https://www.tarotworld.com/product/aleister-crowley-thoth-tarot/

I didn't know the Crow Tarot was larger than average, it's been on my wish list for a while so this might be perfect.

Not sure if esoterica is your taste, but by chance I am working with Tarocchi delle Stelle - La Porta Celeste (Tavaglione) this week. The cards are huge.

I too was going to mention the large Thoth.  If you want something RWS based and modern there is the Everyday Enchantment as well.

Theresa Reed's Tarot For Kids is a large deck.  (5.5 inches by 3.75 inches)

I think my biggest size deck is the Belline (but that's a different style). Carol H Illuminated hand painted tarot comes in larger sizes too. Ember &Aura tarot is bigger than the 'standard' decks. There are many indie decks of larger size but I guess you are looking for mass market decks (based on your example).

Actually I think my largest Tarot is the Rohrig ... which I am actually to put up for sale in the trading section in a few days.

I just got an enormous TdM - the Tarot Perino....
