I have the Hanson Roberta deck which I’ve used for over 30 years. It doesn’t seem to be very popular anymore. Even after all these years it’s still my favourite deck. I love it’s fairy tale feel. 

I had the Hanson Roberts deck when I first started reading tarot, and I think its soft colors and fairy tale feel are lovely. Though I gave my copy to a friend, I think it would be a great deck for those times when life feels harsh and challenging!

I never liked the deck ... yet it occupies a fond place in my heart.

When I was a baby reader like 40 years ago ... I read Tarot Unveiled 1001 times and basically memorized the book for card meanings and card combos. It was illustrated with Hanson Roberts deck. So I became super familiar with that deck even though I never owned it. I can still picture most cards in my mind's eye from reading that book so many times };>

I remember the Essential Tarot Set with this. Gentle-looking Tarot with teeth! 

It's definitely a Tarot with teeth.  I love it and  it's still one of my go to decks.  I actually keep a copy in my purse at all times. It's given me some very specific readings for one person in particular.

I'll testify that it has teeth! It's been one of my workhorses for decades, and almost every time I use it for myself it finds a way to whack me right between the eyes. Don't let the soft artwork fool you!
