Flegetanis Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 I've recently - finally - become someone who get's called first for parties & festivals, as I teach & read in a shop in the commercial district they're always trying to "renew" around here. I noticed that those merchants with a Tarot side gig were charging $5 or $10 for a 3 card reading. I can't tell anyone anything worth charging money for with a 3 card reading. [Yes, I'm skipping those epic moments, that do happen, when you draw one card & it answers all their questions, and they now know what they need to continue their personal Quest. Screw cash, that's when you go for their firstborn!] But I developed a series of 5 card readings that really do the trick. I charge $10 for them, which is the price of a single drink at one of these festivals. I actually scared myself (as well as the clients) with some of these readings, so I know they work. 5cardRDG.pdf
Ravenhurst Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Thanks for posting the PDF! I'm slowly but surely finding more and more opportunities to read for folks, but I spend more time trying to figure out what spread to use for whatever they have going on at the time. lol.

I have enjoyed a long successful history of doing paying gigs at festivals and parties. I have a series of 3-Card readings tailored for almost any situation people might wish to address. So maybe you cannot, but I can! These readings typically take 15 minutes and can be quite thorough.
Morwenna Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 Thank you for these! I'm jotting these down! How great for impromptu readings during visits on holidays!
Kikiwi Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Thank you so much for sharing! I can't wait to give it a try 😀
Morven Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Thank you for sharing your spreads, they look interesting😍
SteveArcana Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Yes, great spreads. My reading methodology extends card content more, so 4-5 cards would give me a standard read of about 20-30 minutes. I usually draw 3 for about 5 min. each card. This includes interaction time with the client, like clarifications and questions. All very fun.
Nemia Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Lovely spreads, thank you! I'll try them. I used to read professionally online, but IRL, I only read for friends. There are no opportunities for reading face-to-face, which is a pity. Four to five card spreads are ideal imho, giving you lots of information without visual overwhelm for a querent.
Tanga Posted February 13 Posted February 13 @Flegetanis - Ooh... there's an elemental one. Yes, thanks! 🙃. I've only ever read at a party once... That was aeons ago. Can't remember what I used either. I have one Party Spread in my "Fave Spreads" folder: Not mine. Can't remember where I got it.
