Has anyone here actually ordered from MakePlayingCards.com? How was it like? How long did the shipping take? Were the products exactly as they were described? How was the quality and customer service?

I remember reading in one of the threads here that the Large Asherah is now sold in MPC. That was nice and I took note of that, but then I found out that the Hall of Mirrors is also available in the site. That really roused my curiosity. I don't know of anyone who has bought any deck from them tho.

Nobody has bought anything from them yet?

Btw, it looks like it may be a sister company or affiliate of Printer's Studio. Look at an example of their offerings HERE. They have almost the same page layout.

i was going to order a deck through MPC a while back because I was not happy with Printers Studio. As I went through the order process it slowly became clear to me they are the same business with different store fronts. The websites are identical other than some cosmetic stuff and that MPC would offer larger orders...which is ironically where printers studio has it's worst reviews.

I would only use these companies for the simplest proof of concept for my own decks now. I have gotten two from printers studio, but I would probably not trust them with a larger order than that.

PrinterStudio en MakePlayingCards are actually not the same company. Even though their stores look very alike and their card stock too. MPC prints it's decks in China, PrinterStudio does not.

MPC made it really difficult for Jukie Cuccia-Watts when she wanted to print the Maat tarot. Turned out they refused to print it fue to the nudity :-(. However, PrinterStudio is now printing it, with no problems at all. They do use the same template.

Possibly MPC has copied PrinterStudio?

I actually have several MPC decks and the card quality is good. And their service with orders too, so far.

They're the printers of my Lennies and playing card deck. Really good quality, and as Truelight has said, really great customer service too. Their stuff are pricier than Game Crafters', but low shipping costs and great quality evens things out, at least for me.

You can check out their on-site marketplace for other tarot decks printed by them and sold on their site. :)

Does anyone have any experience with shipping from them to the EU?

If it's of interest, I posted a comparison of my Gamecrafter and MPC editions of the same deck (but in different size formats).

MPC prep and delivery to New Zealand took 9 days from the order date, which is good for what I'm used to.

Pretty standard stuff, from my experience. I've noticed, though, that getting tracking numbers for packages sent to France seems to take a bit longer than those for other countries. A bit weird.

Thanks for the reviews! I guess I shan't be afraid to try out their decks.

Thank you for review!:) I've printed my decks with printerstudio (& like all their 300gsm, linen & plastic card stock!^^ & else costumer service shipping etc also worked well for me!) before they doubled their cardstock price 2016! same as MPC, only once i've ordered something from mpc to Peru, it got lost never to be find even I paid extra for tracking/insurance option, their costumer service never bother to help me finding it, so I was lucky paypal decided to refund me, so I decided to stop using China pod & print with US based gamecrafter & drivethrucards(this one my fav for best shipping & print quality!^^:)
