Has anybody got this deck? What is the cardstock like?

I'm really intrigued by it - I love the design and it looks like it would be interesting to read with.

My only worry is that it comes via Printer Studio which means I'll probably get stung by customs.

Previews can be seen here:

First time I’ve seen it, but the image of the card in the link is interesting. I can see why it attracts you, Flaxen.

I don't have the deck but here's a review of it.  I don't recall if he mentions cardstock or not...

Oh but this is very beautiful. It looks like an art deck. Great find, Flaxen. :)

Very enamored by this deck. I’ve been wanting to dive into the Marseilles system for awhile, but wasn’t attracted to any of the art styles in the historical decks. This does it for me though, even if some of the titles seem a bit hard to read.

Did anyone get this yet?

If so- do you like how it reads?

I do love the trend to more modern/artistic TdM style decks.

If you buy through Printerstudio you *should* be okay. Their decks come through a postal hub in Germany (As a huge pallet arriving of their goods) and then they send you the deck from Germany. So there is no customs in the EU (and none of the UK as yet). I will only buy individually made decks from them now, not Gamecrafter and some of the others again due to the costs. I've not bought any decks from them for about 12 months but before they always came through Germany after being printed I think in China.

Thanks for the heads up and I did purchase through them- and thankfully just received the shipping notification this evening!

So- the deck arrived. As far as the original question- the cardstock is lovely- playing card stock that riffles easily and sturdy enough they will last. I really do like it- it is a quirky little deck and the colors are beautiful in person- more so than on the videos I had seen.

All in all- definitely worth it, if you like more modern Marseille decks. Just came in plastic wrapping- so you will need a box or bag handy. Let me know if you have any other questions about it!

Hello, brand new here, and so glad to see this deck getting attention. I've had mine for a while now and just love it. It reads very well, the art feels fresh and lovely, and the cardstock is quite nice indeed. I am a big TdM fan, but don't go for all modern takes. This one, though, is a keeper in my book!

I have it, and the card stock is fine - as PS stock always is. I'd have preferred their linen stock and I wish she had offered the option - but I'll live.  I think it's LOVELY, and I might even manage to read TdM with it - even though she says it isn't one... :)
