Saturn Celeste Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 I was inspired by the what is your religion thread so I found some online quizzes to take. Sounds like fun! Some of these quizzes are iffy as to what they're getting at but I only picked ones that weren't bible thumping quizzes. There were a lot of them out there! This is the first one: http://www.findmyreligion.com/index.php Second one: https://www.sun-gazing.com/quiz-the-definitive-religion-and-spirituality-test/ Third one: http://www.gotoquiz.com/the_religious_identity_test Fourth one: http://www.selectsmart.com/RELIGION/
Saturn Celeste Posted July 20, 2018 Author Posted July 20, 2018 My results from all four quizzes! That was fun! ^-^ My results First one: Here is how your beliefs fit into different systems Secular = 64.3%, Pagan = 42.9%, Wiccan = 35.7%, Hindu = 21.4%, Buddhist = 14.3%, Mormon = 7.1%, Jewish = 0.0%, Christian = 0.0%, Muslim = 0.0% Once again, as we state on our main page, This questionnaire is not like others. This is not to see what religion you are but, rather see how your own thoughts fit into different beliefs. You are Gnostic. This is a person who KNOWS that the existence of God is true; a person who claims as a matter of fact that God exists. Many people from different religions feel they "know" God or something similar does/doesn’t exist, however this is not about believing, it is about knowing. It takes demonstrable evidence to be able to claim knowledge. Much like the proof that the earth revolves around the sun, this is the kind of evidence you need to be able to back up a claim of knowledge. The lack of evidence for a God does not mean that one does/doesn’t exist but it would be reasonable to say that no one knows as a matter of fact if a God or Gods exist or not. Even though you may not call yourself an Atheist, you believe and live life just like Atheists do. You feel that most, if not all rules to living life are best to be decided by all of us, for all of us. A 'to each his or her own' as long they are not hurting others is the best approach for people in a society. We believe that this way of dealing with each other is the best way for all of us to have a better, safer and more reliable society. You are Secular. This means that you make your decisions about life by your own experience and try to think about whats best for everyone. This is the only way to have an equal society. You may be religious or believe in a God but, You don't let that impact your reasons for wanting the best for people. Second One: Polytheism Polytheism best suits your religious and spiritual beliefs! Based on your answers, you believe that the Divine takes many manifestations, likely in the form of different angels, spirits, gods, or deities. You respect ancient religious traditions and you have a deep appreciation of mythology. Whether or not you literally believe in multiple gods, you're attracted to new age spirituality, mythology, astrology and ancient forms of wisdom. You're an old soul seeking a spiritual connection to the ancient past! Third One: Your Result: Somewhat humanistic, with some supernaturalism (77%) Humanist (58%) You have a generally humanistic outlook, though you tend to be open to some ideas that would be considered supernaturalistic. Hence, you probably reject most of the dogma and creed of traditional religion, and you probably consider most organized religions outdated in today's world. You value reason, but an attachment to supernaturalism lingers in you. Describing yourself as Christian would not be accurate, as your general outlook is more humanistic than Christian. The Fourth One: Your Complete Results: 1. Unitarian Universalism (100%) 2. Neo-Pagan (92%) 3. Liberal Quakers - Religious Society of Friends (81%) 4. New Age (81%) 5. Taoism (72%) 6. The highest possible score, 100%, represents the closest match to your Spiritual Belief System Selector responses. It does not mean that Unitarian Universalism matches every one of your response to every question. Any, or a combination, of the top scoring results may closely match your expressed preferences.

gregory Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Hm. The first one is a bit odd. Secular = 64.3% Wiccan = 42.9% Pagan = 42.9% Buddhist = 14.3% Hindu = 14.3% Mormon = 7.1% Jewish = 0.0% Christian = 0.0% Muslim = 0.0% Once again, as we state on our main page, This questionnaire is not like others. This is not to see what religion you are but, rather see how your own thoughts fit into different beliefs. You are Agnostic. This is a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena; a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God. You are an Atheist. This is a person that does not believe in any of the claims that have been made about god. This does not mean that there is no God but, without demonstrable evidence, you dont see a reason to believe. This is about what you believe or dont, not about what you know. A lot of people confuse Agnostic and Atheist. You can be both. Because you are Agnostic, you are being honest with yourself by saying that you do not know. By using your logic and reasoning you have set yourself up to be able to find the truth. Second one: (I seem to have goofed yesterday: Agnosticism best suits your religious and spiritual views! Based on your answers, you're a logical and rational thinker deeply skeptical of religious beliefs and superstitions. You, however, aren't prepared to rule out the possibility that God exists or that He (She? It?) is involved in our lives somehow. You trust science but you keep an open mind when it comes to the God question. You're an intellectual at heart with a passion for debate. You're always open to hearing good arguments in favor of or against the existence of God but you'll withhold judgement until you come across definitive proof! And the third: Your Result: Humanist 87% You are probably a humanist. You approach the world from a natural standpoint, giving little weight to organized religion or traditional dogma and creed. You value reason and experience over superstition and supernatural beliefs. In identifying yourself, you would be inaccurate if you described your religious beliefs as Christian or as consistent with any revelation-based belief system. 23% Somewhat humanistic, with some supernaturalism 0% Christian
Arch Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Got agnostic on the second one. (First one seemed to bug out on me) Not really surprised, it is what Christians always end up calling me, after they crossexamine what I give the impression of believing in. Which gives me the following two arguments to destroy all others. Maybe... Dunno... Third got me 77% humanist, with 49% supernaturalism and 9% Christian. Fourth got me this, Seventh day Adventism haunts me to this day... :P Not that I take online quizzes seriously, but it hurts somewhere to be associated with it. :'( 1. Hinduism (100%) 2. Sikhism (82%) 3. Jainism (80%) 4. Orthodox Judaism (74%) 5. Neo-Pagan (63%) 6. Islam (62%) 7. Eastern Orthodox (60%) 8. Roman Catholic (60%) 9. Seventh Day Adventist (58%) 10. Bahai (54%)
TerraAkhert Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 I took the first one and it worked out like this: Pagan = 64.3% Wiccan = 57.1% Secular = 50.0% Buddhist = 14.3% Hindu = 14.3% Jewish = 0.0% Muslim = 0.0% Christian = 0.0% Mormon = 0.0%
