Internet explorer friendly.

Featured Replies

This works fine on Google Chrome, but is it possible to make it IE friendly because when I try it on this search engine I cannot use any of the functions. Eg Bold or Change colours/themes etc.

Thanks!

iE doesn't do much any more; Edge is their new thing, and Microsoft WANT everyone to use it, so haven't updated iE in ages now. I don't THINK Edge works in anything pre windows 10, either, not sure. I'm not touching it - all the reviews say what rubbish it is, and they are apparently bringing out a new one based on - Chromium!

Little Fang would totally be wasting her time; MICROSOFT warn you not to use it:

It's a dead duck.

I use Firefox and this site works on it just fine. 😉

Exactly - and on Chrome and Opera And (one moment) Vivaldi. But you can't really expect it to work on a basically obsolete and retired browser.

I don't like Windows 10 and still use Windows 7, but because of one update (or a few) it stopped Chrome and Firefox and all browsers except IE a few months back. Even software engineers cannot alter it or reinstall them. No bugs or viruses. Also Windows Player stopped as well with a later update. Others in the world with the same issue yet no solution.

I do have a new laptop (one years old now) but that still stays packed away due to Windows 10 plus the laptop Im using now had no issues with the old T T and Me.

I did do this as a tester  [ b ] and [/b ]  and it worked, so is it possible to have those listed somewhere as well as colour choices like they had on AT and I think TT and Me had them as well. Codes and symbols.

I use Windows 7. All those browsers work fine. Try Pale Moon or Vivaldi, if your machine has taken offence. But iE is not going to be updated at all, ever, and it really isn't safe to use either, so if you really can't use another, you're stuck.

Invision does its level best not to allow the use of BBcode. The WYSIWYG editor seems to do OK, with handy buttons for formatting colour, bold etc and everything. Can you not see it ? But you know the codes anyway, if you want to use them. If you need one you don't know, https://www.bbcode.org/reference.php will help.

This is what I see when posting: all the formatting options are right there.
