Many of you know that I like to create intricate spreads with lots of detail that ideally still hang together in a logical way. Here is a problem-solving spread (at its heart a two-option scenario) that uses elemental temperaments in a novel way to point out the most advantageous solution. It consists of two three-card chains, a "quint" card for each chain, and four "background" cards that influence and modify the quint cards through Elemental Dignity.

@Barleywine Can you please define what you mean by your "quint" cards.

I have my assumptions, but that could be wrong. (And not Quint from Jaws!)

Quint Cards are fine, but I was thinking about inventing something new - Squint Cards! It’s when you randomly pull a card and squint at it. Whatever details or symbols you think you can make out are then interpreted intuitively. What do you think? Will the world of tarot reading ever be the same after this revolutionary method? ☺️😁❤️

Actually, squinting at an entire spread can give you a "gestalt" feel for the reading, especially with decks that use some kind of color-coding. For example, a lot of the Thoth Wands are red and orange. You could get an elemental "flavor" for the reading without considering any of the individual card meanings. And yes, I know you weren't being serious even if I am. 😀

I did expect a serious reply though, does that count? 😀 You are great at giving me fresh perspectives! And yes, I know what you mean. Sometimes when I do a large spread I will take a step back and look at it from the side and from a distance. Just to expand my perception. It really works! Scanning or squinting at a spread will surely work too.
