I am new to this forum and couldn't quite work out if I'm posting in the right place so apologies if not (please do point me in the right direction!). 

 

I was gifted a tarot deck years ago and I've never been able to find which deck it is as it came without box or book... Can anyone help? 

 

I also seem to need help adding in a picture as I can't attach one.... I feel silly right now! 🤦‍♀️ how do I add pictures??

Hi @Ecogirl1985 welcome to the TT&M Family. We can probably leave the thread here once we saw a pic of it we can help you :-) You should see a link to attach images on the bottom of the post:

Hi Joy thank you so much for replying.  It doesn't have that option at the bottom, only a button to insert an image from url...! 

I THINK the option to upload your own pictures only shows up after you have made five posts. But you could host it on imgur and add a link.

 

https://imgur.com > "new post" and drop your pic there; then hover over it and go for "copy link".

That's not working either, it just won't let me insert the url 😭

you have to go to insert other media - bottom right:

 

 

and then click on the URL option.

 

 

 

Oh wait - just read the rules:

 

Do take note that only subscribers or members who have posted 5 or more comments are allowed to post links

 

MAYBE that also applies to image links ?

Thank you for trying to help me Gregory, but I only have one button, which says "insert image from url". However when I paste the link in the box and click the insert button it just doesn't do anything 🤔☹️

Your profile says you have four posts.
Make one more, and then try coming back and attaching the images.
Your reply box should look like this (minus the red things):

 

Once your image uploads, click the "+" to insert it into the post.

Here are some pictures... It seems very Golden Dawn but I've not been able to find a similar deck anywhere 🤷‍♀️. Hopefully someone here knows what it is 🤞😊

Niiiiiiice...! And yes, the correspondences look GD/Crowley-ish. Looks vintage, kind of 90's.
But I've never seen that one, I'd remember it if I had!

Out of print and going for $99 and up. Not bad for a freebie! Looks like a good reading deck, too.

But she's had it for years - as have I had mine. Mine cost me £9.95 in 1988. (My copy is dated 1986, published by Aquarian Press.... !)

Aaaaaah, and so it is the Magickal Tarot! Thank you knowledgeable ones! I have indeed had it for years, close to 15 probably.  I have always admired it but never really used it as I couldn't quite get my head around the GD naming, having learnt on the Swiss 1jj (the first deck I ever had, and inherited it from my grandma whom I think had it from about the 70s ❤️). I must make more effort now I know what it is 😉
