I LOVE this deck ... but let's get the bad out of the way, first.

THIN card stock. Shamefully thin. But it comes in a nice sturdy luxe box ... go figure.

The symbolism on the Courts seems a bit wonky to me ... but then again ... Stockholm 17 is a playing card company. This deck is actually a Tarot expansion of their Keymaster Playing cards. So, the Courts are more decorative than symbolic. Ditto on the aces. Wierd hand positions with no symbolism (unlike the RWS deck where hand positions of the Aces are meaningful). The LWB is insipid.

The Good:

You can't see it ... but each Pip card has a metallic overlay of the classic TdM style pip illustration. It's luxe, modern, and antique all at once.

I read these using classic TdM technique so I separate the Majors from Minors ... which is easy to do as the Trumps have a gold border and the minors have black border.

This deck has a futuristic yet classic vibe. I think it would be the cards used in the book Dune if House of Atreides had tarots. It's weirdly reminiscent of Cat People Tarot for the sci fi vibe.

The deck is easy to read if you're familiar with RWS and TdM. Seems accurate so far. Getting a lot of use out of it for a new deck.
