About this blog

Just a revised copy paste introduction from my about me page as introductions are not my strong suit!

☀️

Hello!🧿

You can call me Aether or "A" and I'm a beginner tarot reader. I've been interested for years and finally decided to take a dip into learning more about it after I had an experienced tarot reader do a reading for me in an online game 2 and a half years ago. On top of genuinely wanting to enjoy my studying of tarot and its many branches, I'd also like to re-strengthen my intuition, understand my Life Path(5) and to genuinely have fun learning new things about myself with the help of this wonderful tool.

That aside, I'm a huge gamer and devour fantasy books when I have down time from life and capitalism.

I love complex characters that wade in the muddy waters of morality and genuinely seem to attach myself to characters who either sacrifice themselves for others, are eccentric but true to themselves, motherly-figures, are difficult to read, or just don't live for very long.

I'm an avid tea and coffee drinker, a taker of naps, enjoyer of quiet spaces, literature and music that vibrate my soul, and a lover of all forms of art created by beautiful human hands.

I hope we can get along ^^)

Replacing a tarot deck

This is just me rambling to myself, but I made the decision to purchase the default RWS deck to replace my Biddy Tarot deck. I constantly found myself struggling interpreting the cards and couldn't figure out why until two nights ago. It sounds picky but I felt like the visuals of the cards were constantly throwing me off. As I scrolled through various websites before adding the vintage Raider Waite Smith tarot deck to my cart, I found myself thinking, "what am I to do with the old deck?". I fel
