This is a little blog about my experience as a beginner witch! I've always been interested in witchcraft, and I finally have the resources to try myself, as of last year! I currently own:

• 2 tarot decks
• A little pocket-sized guide to astrology
• A spellbook/journal
• A variety of gemstones
• Some (fake) candles (I don't trust myself to use real ones all the time)
• A few essential oil infused items like pens and pencils
• A guide to palm reading

I've done a few spell circles, or whatever you would call them. I create a circle of stones that represent the intent of the spell, and meditate in it or outside if it's too small. (I don't have as many crystals as I'd like.) I've done focus spells, blood moon rituals, and luck spells. Let me know if anyone has any tips!

As for tarot, I always pull one from each deck, and they aren't traditional decks. For example, here are my cards for the day. (Sorry for bad quality)

I included the decks just for fun, and I left the right deck's book open so it's more understandable, it's "The high priestess" and the left one was cut off, but it said "Stay in the background and adapt to the situation rather than being conspicuous and attempting to direct the course of events"
