EmpyreanKnight Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Does anyone else have Les Vampires Oracle by Lucy Cavendish and Jasmine Beckett-Smith? It has a slightly girly style that would normally do nothing for me - I mean, this is the only deck of theirs that I have). But their aesthetic works very well with a vampire theme. It does not have a cutesy vibe at all - if anything it evokes a menacing, melancholy atmosphere. I wonder if anyone else has used this? I'd like to explore oracles a bit more, and I think this deck would be perfect for cold, gloomy November.
Starlight Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 I have Les Vampires oracle deck. Love it - and I know what you mean about not usually being drawn to this type of style. I don't usually go for this type of deck either. But it's a great deck to read with. Whenever I've used it, it has always been very direct and up front. And while you can use your intuition to read with it, I've always found that the guidebook explains the cards in a COMPLETELY different way from what you imagine the cards are saying, and usually the message is very deep. Deep. Yes. That's the word that comes to mind when describing the deck. Have you used the cards so far this November?
EmpyreanKnight Posted November 19, 2017 Author Posted November 19, 2017 Thanks for the feedback, Starlight! I shall pay particular attention to what the guidebook says too. :) Yup, it's the deck I currently use in my Reading with Oracles Circle exchange with Page of Ghosts. I'm going to post my reading soon, and I shall include pictures too. :D
