I have a question about this deck that I wonder if anyone here knows the answer to...I often see this deck listed as OOP, when it is being sold on eBay, Facebook, etc. Of course the prices I usually see it going for are commensurate with that. However, I purchased this deck new from one of the co-creators, Willow Arlenea, just a few months ago, off Amazon for $40. I am still seeing the deck available there- she is listed as seller "Designs by Willow." So my question is, is this deck really OOP? Perhaps the creator saved some copies and is just selling off her last few? Or, is it not OOP and that is somehow a widespread myth? Or, is it perhaps an edition thing? Does anyone know the answer to this one?

thanks for the heads up about this deck- the seller (the artist) has two different decks listed on Amazon- anyone know the difference between the two listings?

Sorry I couldn't answer your question :(

My best guess it that it might have been sold by a larger publisher at some point, while the edition currently for sale is more of an indie thing directly from the artist. I'm not very familiar with this deck although it's on my wishlist so I hope someone who really know comes along.

I bought mine when it came out - same publisher (Red Wheel/Weiser)

I think the pricey ones are people trying to get all they can, let's be blunt.

The $40 one is on amazon being sold - among others - by Willow herself. And it's also on her website.

It does look nice. It reminds me of the Tarot of the Spirit by Pamela Eakins, tho this one looks richer, more abstract, the dreamy night to the Spirit's dazzling day.

I like it a lot.

I bought my copy of this deck through the artist's website earlier this year. (I originally contacted her through Amazon, but her Amazon listing didn't ship outside the USA, and I'm in Finland, so I had to order through the website instead). The OOP version is the one that was originally printed by a card publisher; there was at least one indie run after that which had pretty poor cardstock. The version currently for sale has better cardstock (although it's still pretty thin and delicate), and the guidebook that comes with it is super informative (I highly recommend it) but I think self-published also, going by some of the formatting.

I'm happy to answer any other questions you might have about this one :)

thank you! I love the interpretations of the cards. I love Tarot decks that put a slightly different spin on the traditional meanings.

Me too! I nearly swooned when I read through the guidebook, I swear. It's one of my all-time favourite decks ^^
