Titanic Tarot - anyone have this one?

So I didn't hear about this deck until the kickstater was over, and I'm having real trouble buying a copy in the wooden box here in UK. But despite the odd vibe I do like it, and would love to know if anyone has it, is reading with it? Or knows of a UK supplier with the box and boarding certificate? A couple of places have the image, but upon inquiry don't have the deluxe version  😞

Anyhow - can anyone speak about it?

Thank s

Thank you for trying - but no, I've inquired there before, they don't actually have any of the deluxe sets. They  - and every other UK supplier I have been able to find so far - are using stock photo. They have the decks in cardboard boxes (standard) and don't have any stock of the deluxe. I've tried ebay too - but not there either at the moment :classic_sad:I've even tried contacting the creator with a plea, but no reply so far. Someone must have it??

Fair enough. They SAY they have a box available.....

I'll ask them again then, maybe they've had a delivery. Thank you.

PathWalker, if it a little disenabling would help...:) my personal experience with decks with a movie or book theme is they are a mess to read with. A lot of thought goes into the Majors but the minors, oh boy. 56 cards needing characters means a lot of very minor easily forgotten or not noticed at all people are used and without card titles you don't have a clue.

All the shakespeare decks come to mind, Dickens, Jane Austen, Dracula, Alice in Wonderlands have all passed through my hands and I was happy to get rid of them. I'll never buy another...and I mean never.

Morning AJ   I have to say I don't entirely agree with you - I love and use Robert Place's Vampire Tarot for example, and Dolores Ashcroft-Nowiki's Shakespeare Tarot. But the deck i'm speaking about is this one

and has no direct connection with the film of the same name.

Not to everyone's tastes I know, but I'd dearly love to have a copy - so far I can only find it with delivery to USA or Canada, no UK suppliers are replying to inquiries, and one claimed to have it but didn't - and I had to use PayPal disputes to get my money back!

Somewhere - somehow

What - the deck too ? Odd - I ordered one just after you posted, and they haven't said I'm NOT getting it. Or do you mean the box ?

They are sold out of the deluxe version, which comes in the wooden box with the individual boarding document - each one named for a person who was onboard the ship.

They have the standard version, but that's not what I'm after :classic_sad:

Thank you for trying.

No no - you just had me in a panic. I wanted the standard (your fault entirely; I'd never heard of it before , and paid for it. When you said they were sold out, I....

OJ - so I just got it. (It's lovely.)

But the most extraordinary thing - this is the first deck I have ever got where nowhere on it, anywhere at all, is there ANY indication of who created it. NOT A WORD. Even in the book. I foresee some interesting times on ebay in about 10 years...

I have received my deluxe version today - a long wait for the supplier in UK to receive the decks, but at last I have mine  :classic_rolleyes:

That deck looks pretty interesting, actually.  Unfortunately, it also looks like only a certain number of decks were produced, and if I wanted it here in Canada, it would cost me.  It's all good though, it would have mostly been a curiosity for me.  I already have four decks, not including the novelty deck I started with, and while I'm definitely interested in expanding the number of decks I own at some point, I don't actually need to, and I try to keep to decks that I can turn to for particular kinds of readings.  Had I invested in a deck like this, perhaps it would be for readings after loss, either for myself, or for friends.  In any case, I also way overspent on securing a Prisma Visions deck a few months back, and would much rather save my money for now.  This deck is one I may consider if it ever gets a second printing, however.

I was searching for the wooden box deluxe edition and came across this site. Not sure if its still available and it looks like some people had recently bought the deluxe edition from the site.

Note'' someone had left a recent review saying that the quality of the wooden box was not good.

I heard, that there are certain "Titanic paraphernalia" collector's sites, where this item was mentioned to exist and quickly got snapped up.

Maybe try the Titanic museum in Halifax?

Edited to ad:

There is also a Museum just about the Titanic in Hamburg, Germany.

I will check their on line gift shop and ifffff I see anything I will post it here.....

Well, the thing in Hamburg was a large temporary exhibit and the Maritime museum does not seem to have an on line gift store.... Sorry. my bad.

From Halifax you can order a few Titanic inspired items, but no Tarot deck:
