Hey! Over the past year I've been doing regular tarot readings over morning coffee. It's taken that long to really start to understand the system, and now I'm excited to try out some new decks and see which ones fit me the best. My favorite so far is Ostara, and I've got the newly released Cosmic Slumber set for delivery this month. 

 

I love active forums like this- I've previously been all over NaNoWriMo and Board Game Geek, and I'm hoping/expecting these forums are just as lively.

 

I'm also an illustrator creating a deck myself, and I'm extremely excited to chat with others about what direction it's going, card meanings and symbolism, and see if there are any other deck artists on here. I'm adding my first draft of my first card, the fool (hopefully it's ok to add my own art, I'm still not sure the rules.) 

Can't wait to get to know some of you!

ooh, cool illustration! i drew a Fool for my own Tarot deck about 30 years ago, back before i'd ever seen a female Fool. yours has sharks circling below her. mine was a woman walking through a city -- with a big fish jumping at her heels, saying "woof!" anyway, seeing yours brought that back to me.
