Hello all, I'm an old fool from NYC. Tarot found me five years ago. I see tarot as a creative catalyst for active imagination, resonating with and illuminating along archetypal, Jungian correspondences. I try not to get lost in the sauce of tarot for its own sake. The sacred surrounds all and tarot can help align us intentionality with love, compassion, wonder and gratitude. Tarot can help us be our best selves as healthy, positive cells in the lifeblood of our common soul.

Hi Everyone! I'm Jessie from the Pacific Northwest US. I bought my first real tarot deck, Tarot of the Spirit, in 1995 when I was 21, although I've been dabbling in cartomancy since middle school. I was a pretty active collector from around 1999-2009, before I had a kid and a mortgage and found myself with neither the spare cash nor the spare time to keep that up. I'm much more selective these days, with a preference for colorful and nature-based decks. I enjoyed keeping up with world of tarot on Insta, Tarot Tube, and reddit.

I have had tarot cards for many years now. Never really figured out how they worked really. But have a background in IT and website deployment as well as systems backup and maintenance. So with that background I created a project on Github. Don't know if I am allow to post a link to it?? Anyway, I learn through doing and this has given me food for thought. I used some of the classical methods that I scrapped from the information on the Golden Dawn and Alister Crowley. Ai did the rest. I know that some of you probably hate AI, and I completely understand. But as I said learn from doing and a bit lazy... Anyway thought I would come check out some communities, so here I am.

Hello everyone! I am a woman from Spain, and I am 33, but bought my first tarot deck at 24 and have had my highs and lows in my tarot journey. Now, however, I feel encouraged to do it, and have done so for nearly a year, even though I am still learning, of course. My reading style is not predictive; I like to ask the cards for ideas, insights and advice that I haven't found myself any other way. I am somewhat spiritual, feel very drawn to paganism, and have made an altar some time, but it's not something I am very active with, even though I do take it seriously (I should be more serious though). I use the Thoth Tarot, but lately I've become more interested in Tarot de Marseille and other cartomancy systems, such as Lenormand, La Vera Sibilla, Kipper and playing cards. Hi, I'm Crow (not my real name) and it's good to be with a new community. I've sort of dabbled with tarot for a long time but have recently gotten more into it and have been collecting more decks. But I want to be a better practitioner and not just a collector of pretty cards, and even at age 70 I feel like I have a lot to learn, not only about tarot but about myself.

I'm glad to be a part of this community. I am new here and would like to do tarot exchanges. I am currently trying to deepen my knowledge of the tarot meanings, and am always finding new correlations. I'd love to see what everyone's takes on the cards are. I've been reading tarot for about 16 years now. But I am by no means an expert lol. I think there is always something new to learn. I love to collect tarot and oracle cards. (Some of you may remember me as Simone from AT) I have been missing a place where I can offer readings, discuss Tarot and other tools, where others know what I am talking about. I'm a 49 yr old Tarot beginner who's keen on learning the ropes and understadning this space. I've come at this sideways and I'm trying to understand the practice properly. I'm here to learn mostly about reading methods, alternative spreads, card and spread meaning/intention. I have bought the New Earth Tarot deck and handbook from Kate Silver (round cards) which I'm truely loving. I'm doing a rough 3 card spread at the start of eack week atm and recording these in a log. Hello all, I found a tarot deck in New Orleans about 3 months ago in a little shoppe. I knew nothing about it before then. I have done a daily reading ever since. I am a little tripped out about the quickness in which I have found myself opening my mind. I am currently working with a spiritual advisor that has a PhD in Jungian Psychology. I have been open to the idea of collective unconscious but this is the first time iI have really dived in. A little freaked out tbh. Curious if anyone had any spiritual awakenings like this...

I got staggering results from my very first reading. I'm excited. And I'm very interested in esotericism.
