Morsoth Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) Big news! Lo Scarabeo released its catalog for 2021! Link: https://issuu.com/loscarabeo/docs/catalogo_2021_-_uk I'm interested by the two Anima Antiqua, the Tarot Original 1909, the Symbolic Tarot of Wirth and the Etteilla Tarot (back in print!!!). That will be an expensive year! Edited December 2, 2020 by Morsoth
ballerina Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 Thanks for posting this. There are a few that catch my eye. Usually I glaze over the RWS but I really like the "Vintage" version here.
Morsoth Posted December 2, 2020 Author Posted December 2, 2020 I hear ya! But I made my own vintage version out of it some years ago, aged individually with distressed ink and tea. I'm using that deck every week since its creation so I don't think I need one that has been aged with photoshop. I think I'll also buy the two "Old Cartography" decks too! The Folk Cards of Destiny and the Medieval Fortune Telling Cards! They looks great!
gregory Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 I wish they would make it downloadable. I LOATHE issuu.

Well, I made it for readings, either for me or my "clients" (family, friends and co-workers). I prefer to use it often instead of only using it for the special occasions. The reason I wanted a vintage and dirty look was to not be extra cautious with it, so I can read on any surfaces, even if it's not 100% clean. It only adds more character to it! 😉 Here is some pictures of it:
vulprix Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 There are some really fantastic deck offerings coming from Lo Scarabeo next year!! I am a fan of the Manara Erotic Tarot, the oracle looks to have beautiful artwork. I am loving all of the "old world" tarots and cartomancy decks, too.
sixdegrees Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I got so excited to see that the 1909 and Wirth decks were slated as January 2021 releases, far in advance of the June 2021 projected release date on Llewellyn's website...and then I remembered that Lo Scarabeo releases tend to take about six months to reach the United States. 😔 Still, I'm thrilled for both of these, as well as the Vintage version they are releasing later. Stuff like the Surrealist and Pinter are not normally my cup of tea, but I admit that my interest is piqued from the imagery thus far. We'll have to see. And I'm not sure that I'll need the Runic after having already acquired the Heaven & Earth, but now it's on my radar for sure. So many beautiful decks to keep track of in 2021!
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 when I get excited about a european publication I order it through Book Depository, they have free shipping to the US
gregory Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 And you can always order direct from Lo Scarabeo.
sixdegrees Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Sadly, Book Depository has them listed for Jun 2021 release as well. Ordering from Lo Scarabeo directly is a possibility, but I imagine that this is just a good opportunity to exercise patience.
