VGimlet Posted November 11, 2017 Author Posted November 11, 2017 I'm back with the same decks again because while I DID get the Angelarium Oracle down, I barely touched my decks this week either. I guess I'm glad I'm not alone in having so much going on. ::) VGimlet - Tarot of Transformation & Angelarium Oracle I keep thinking things are going to get less busy, but I guess not! LOL. Well, at least I'm not bored.
EmpyreanKnight Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 It's going to be the Wild Unknown, the Sola Busca, and Les Vampires Oracle for me. Gotta work them circle exchanges. :D
RavenOfSummer Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Hi VG! *waves* Thanks for the thread! It's been a while but I'd love to jump in this week. I'd like to start working with by De Burgh Celtic Tarot (to distinguish from the many other Celtic Tarots out there!). I'm also going to work with my Shamanic Healing Oracle, and I may be back to add another oracle deck as well. Rose Lalonde Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Rose Lalonde - Asherah Tarot and I Ching - Holitzka (Same as last week, but these are now laid out in spreads on my reading table for exchange circles, so another week or two it is...) Thanks, VG! I always enjoy reading these threads, and I appreciate you keeping track of us all. :)
EmpyreanKnight Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 It's going to be another busy week, but at least this weekend, I can spend some time with my cards. Might even travel a bit, bit I'd be bringing some decks with me. :)
Page of Ghosts Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Time to pull out the Tarot of the Magical Forest and the Dreaming Way this week for me! Haven't worked much with these... I actually don't think they've been decks of the week for me before :o Page of Ghosts - Tarot of the Magical Forest and the Dreaming Way Tarot
EmpyreanKnight Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 I try my best not to gush about other members' decks. But the Tarot of the Magical Forest? ❤

Bodhiseed Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 I'm in with the Jolanda Tarot paied with Bird Signs. Thank you VG!:D Hope all the DOWers have a great week ahead.
EmpyreanKnight Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 I pulled the 3, 10 and Ace of Swords as my cards today... I'm in for a long session of D&D today so I'm wondering if my character will die! We'll see when the evening comes and the game is over 8) Welp, those cards shore are hard goin. Would be better if those cards reflect on your game character than in real life tho. Enjoy your weekend. :)

Page of Ghosts Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Well, it's evening here and both me and my character survived the day. So the reading was probably not about a challenging day or my characters death. We slayed about 8-10 giant spiders so someone did get their ass kicked. The last session, when I wasn't there, another player, who wasn't present this time, kinda really screwed up things for everyone when they refused to listen to the DM and killed themself in spectacular fashion after messing up something important for the rest of us... I wasn't there but it sounded really bad and annoying, not a good way to be a player. I mean, we have prophecies to fullfill and their character was part of it :-\ There was an exchange of ideas when we were done playing and I get to level up - always fun - so if I'm on to something it sorta fits the theme in a more mundane, less dramatic way?
Madame Squee Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Hey VG, thanks for the thread! Please sign me up with TdM Francois Chosen 1736 and STS Lenormand

The Prisma Visions is just really calling me right now. So, update: RavenOfSummer - Prisma Visions Tarot & Celtic Tarot (De Burgh) & Shamanic Healing Oracle
Bodhiseed Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 This week I'll be working with the Jolanda Tarot, created by Jolanda Den Tredjes with Hans Arnold and published by AGM Müller. I'll also be using the oracle set Bird Signs, created by G.G. Carbone with Mary Ruzicka and published by New World Library. The cards drawn today are Judgment and 'Crane:' In the Jolanda version of Judgment, a woman doesn't just awaken to the call of trumpets, she gives birth to a whole other being. She's gone from living life like a billboard - with her opinions and demands plastered everywhere - to seeing life clearly. No longer living in her head of ideas about how things should be, she's come back to a direct experience of being. She's undergone a profound alteration in how she previously reacted to life. The Whooping Crane, so named for its bugling call, is the tallest bird in North America. These monogamous birds perform an elaborate and energetic courtship dance, made even more impressive with their seven foot wingspan. Because of the crane's dance, it has been given the keyword 'celebration.' If I have some form of spiritual experience, I don't need to run about and try to impress the world with my new-found wisdom or vision. If that's how I respond, then I haven't really awakened at all. An inner celebration of gratitude might be a better, more humble choice.
Trogon Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Hi VG! I'll be using my Touchstone Tarot again this week. It gave me several excellent readings last week, so I'm in with it again. Trogon - Touchstone Tarot
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 I'm using the Animal Totem this week, thank you
Trogon Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 I am finding the Touchstone Tarot to be extremely easy to work with. The images evoke the ideas of the cards quite well, making it pretty easy to work with (for me anyway ;)). This will be my second week working with it and it has been a joy. Though I did find out that it can be a little ... sarcastic. I noted this in a reading I did on my depression; essentially, it told me that, in part, I was depressed because of things not getting done, but I was not getting things done because I was depressed. It made me laugh. But tonight's reading on my day-to-day eating issue gave me the 10 of Coins for what to "contemplate" through my shift at work. Definitely keeping in mind surviving to actually get to and enjoy my retirement. Which I think is probably a good idea ...
Rose Lalonde Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 I read with the Asherah Tarot as part of the Nov. circle exchange. It's a deck that just came in June, and I'd only read it for myself until now, but I was surprisingly very comfortable reading with it for someone else. Whether it's relevant for my partner is another subject ;) but I enjoyed it. Proving yet again, that it's in my top 3. Now I'm looking over my I Ching reading for the first TT&M oracle circle. I'm actually getting to work with both of my DotW decks this week!
