Hello!I've been looking for a tarot forum for a long time 😃.  Nice to meet you all!

I've started to read the cards when I was twelve years old, using my mother's deck.

Then I've neglected this passion for a very long time and now I've reconnected. I'm trying to learn to use the Hermetic tarot deck right now, which I find

really fascinating but also a bit unfamiliar (my old deck, Tarocco Indovino by Dal Negro it's really different and more straightforward).

I'm looking forward to exchanging opinons and readings.

Sorry for my english, i am not a native speaker.

Hi @E55ence, welcome to the forum. Your English is great, don’t worry, there are many people here who aren’t native speakers 🙂

Fellow newbie here too, @E55ence! ❤️ Welcome welcome. That's so cool that your mother did tarot as well. Wishing you luck on exploring your new deck (not like you'll need it anyway)!

Welcome @E55ence

I really love black and white tarot decks like the Hermetic Tarot, especially for personal readings and study.   My copy is sitting on my collection shelf and I don't think I will have much time to work with it until 2022 but that is on my "To Do" list!  Tarocco Indovino by Dal Negro is lovely but I have only seen pictures of it on the Internet.  I've just got an average collection of about 30 different decks.  There are people around here who have hundreds, some over a thousand and I am in awe 🙂

Yes, don't worry about English as a non-primary language.  This is such a friendly and inclusive community.

I have five different decks, at the moment, but I find very difficult to use most of them. I need a lot of time to become familiar with a deck : different characterizations of the Arcana confuse me a bit. 🤔 I never know for sure if I should rely on my "old" knowledge of the card or on the new image

Welcome, I am new as well but the folks here seem really great. Hope to see you again here in the forums.
