Your Lenormand decks they would have to PRY from your hands

While I don't have a HUGE collection of Lenormands, and that's what I read most with, Lenormands, I love the ones I have.  ALL of them for different reasons.  I have no desire to ever part from them.

But some are harder to replace than others.

I wouldn't part with my Le Petit Lenormand Noir by Chronata aka Robyn Tisch Hollister for anything.  I don't even know if there was ever even a second ed.  Anyone else know??

One of Seven Stars limited ed Samhain Lenormands (can't remember which ed, I think she did three consecutive years?).

These two I think would be harder to replace, but I love all my Lenormands.

All the Lenormands I have kept check off the boxes for me (ok, some may not have Whip/Broom, which is just a preference, but other than that....)

I do wish there would be another edition of ....help me here, drawing a blank, NZ lady who did the stamp vintage Lenormand.  I can't believe it's not coming to mind, it was a fav except for cardstock.  I got two that peeled.  ANYWAY if there was another limited ed of that coming out, I would DEFINITELY get it if it had better stock and would pay a pretty penny.

SO WHAT LENORMAND would you not part with, PERIOD.

DING! DING! DING! DING!   THANK YOU, LEGENDARYELEMENT!  I just went blank.  I could PICTURE the deck....but yes, that's it.  LOVED the deck.  I just got one, well, two, that had cardstock that peeled.  The edges were rough.  LOVED the deck though and would happily pay well for another that didn't have that issue.  I was always hoping for a second ed.

Probably most of my decks except the one made by Marcus Katz and Tali Goodwin which I think is the Enchantment Lenormand, also, everyday easy to buy ones.

Thier deck is a beautiful deck, but the numbers are hard to make out as well as the images at times.

I think I have a majority of Chronata's (Robyn T Hollister's) Lenormand decks and Tarot, also, the Lenormand stones she made which I still absolutely love.

I know I bought two of each of some and may have been lucky to get one of each when she was selling them at low numbers or reprints.

One very artistic lady that  got the images right as in nothing overshadowing the main image so much that you couldn't tell what was what. Simple, colourful and some of the best Lenormand decks I own! Not parting with any of them in this life time or the next...

Some others which I probably wouldn't part with would be the reprint of the Game of Hope and Purple Dandorf.

Also, I have about four antique and vintage Lenormand Blue owl decks with gold edges so wouldn't be parting with them either.

I think that is about it...

WOW.  COOL selections, DND!  I agree.  Robyn really got it right.  I LOVE reading with her decks (I only have two, both Lenormands, but ADORE THEM).

Your other selections are also amazing.  I am sure you have a better, more impressive collection than mine!   Just wondering, anything on your radar for the coming months re Lenormand that may also make this list?

Ciro Marchetti

I really like alot of his decks: Lenormand, Tarot and Kipper. And have original and mass prints of most - if not all.

Do you not have his Gilded Reverie?

The artwork is phenomenal although he has Bridge for Crossroads I think. No 22. It bugs me a little, but you'd still have to pry it from my hands!

Ur Lenormand (Primal Lenormand) is another one and the Golden Lenormand. Won't part with these either! I don't really read with them, but have an appreciation for them.

Have you seen them? Will attach some images below.

I have two of each although I may have three of the Golden actually - not sure as haven't gone through my decks in ages to see what is what.

I seem to buy more than one, however, just in case. Eg Out of print/Limited Editions.

There are some Lenormand decks I won't give the time of day because they are far too busy or just don't hit the spot for me.

Am sure it must be the same for you.

Ditto, DND!  Exactly.  There are some I think are lovely, but I learned long ago, just because I think a deck is stunning, it doesn't hit the spot re reading for me, especially with Lenormand.

For me, Lenormand must have clear images.  I don't want to have to SEARCH for the Clover or have many Lenormand images in one card.  Since I don't read playing cards, I really don't want a playing card insert on it (symbol FINE) because most of my Lenormands are poker size and it just takes up too much of the image I want (Child, Clover) and it's just unnecessary.  But there are SO many LOVELY ones that have inserts, like one you showed or mentioned.

Cardstock is a BIGGIE for me, especially if I am doing a lot of readings with a particular deck.  If I was a collector or didn't use a deck much, might not be.  The Lenormands in my profile are all favs.  I do like SIMPLE, like Chronata/Robyn's Noir, it's wondrous, and the image is RIGHT THERE.  The imagery is simple and clear, not the deck.

Seven Stars Vintage, the LoS Lenormard Oracle cards (same basic images, just newer looking, as I know you know), like those a lot.  Like the cardstock Seven Stars used, not sure if it's changed.

I had the Gilded Reverie when it first came out.  I think it's a gorgeous deck.  Ciro does incredible images.  It was a little too modern for me re reading.  I could easily read with it and it was SOOO pretty, but I moved it along.  I had thought about getting the newer edition, but heard the cardstock wasn't that great.  Your thoughts?  Do you have the second ed?  I think it has extra cards?

We think alike.  We like what we like!

I have two (I think) - those extra cards bring something extra to the table for sure, but somehow really put a different spin on the GT and other readings.

If I want to experiment - great stuff, but for GTs and readings I'm more accustomed to doing then just the normal 36 cards suffice.

Not sure if I have put them next to the original - some day I will do that to see what the difference is in card stock but I don't think I noticed them being thin like some decks can be.

Very cool, DND!  AH, LENORMAND.  Glad I am pretty particular with what I want or I would be broke!  So many lovely decks.

There are a couple. The Brepols pattern (Jeu Lenormand, Carta Mundi) is my primary deck. One of these has been in use for over ten years. It is fading. It has the old backs. But I love it. I also still have my first (it’s a Dondorf-bootleg from c. 1920) that is in terrible condition. But I still have it.

Other than that I have antique versions of the Daveluy, Brepols, Wüst, Dondorfs, Schmid, Schnideur & Co, and an early edition Blaue Eule. I use have a Leipzig, and a prototype Maybe Lenormand sent by Ryan Edward. I wouldn’t like to lose any of them.

Mondnacht, from Germany.

I use the Renata Lechner for quick 3 card draws, I've always liked her vibrant art. But when I want an old-school feel and

a small enough pack for a 9 cards spread, it is the Mondnacht all the way. I find it simply captivating.

Just discovered this on YouTube review.  I must get it.  Love this deck.  My type of Lenormand!
